Wii U is “definitely more powerful than 360 and PS3,” says Scribblenauts dev

Jeremiah Slaczka, CEO of 5th Cell – the developers of the Scribblenauts series – has said in the latest issue of Game Informer (via VideoGamer) that the Wii U is “definitely more powerful than Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3,” and also voiced his frustration with the console wars.

“It’s kind of frustrating to see the rumours and speculation of people going back and forth saying it’s weaker or more powerful. It’s definitely more powerful.” added Slaczka.

Slaczka also add that 5th Cell – who is currently developing Scribblenauts Unlimited for the Wii U – “were one of the first developers to see the Wii U.”

“Nintendo came to our studio and demoed it to us. A couple of weeks later Warner Bros. got to see it, and we said we should do this. This game was originally a Wii title but later moved to Wii U. It’s been about two years in development.” said Slaczka.

Another day, another developer commenting on the capabilities of Nintendo’s next home console. Make of it what you will, we can’t be certain until the Wii U is out in the market.
