If you have been living under the rock for the past few days then you should know that Rockstar Games has caught many of their fans under a heel of surprise after releasing two official screenshots for the blockbuster-bound game. This is after waiting nearly a year when the studio revealed GTA V’s debut trailer.
As many would expect, virtually hundreds of reports have conquered the web analysing the said screenshots, which interestingly these opinion pieces stating Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V is made for “the next big thing” from both Sony and Microsoft.
While we’re not here to discuss on which is which, it should be a priority first to gather some data before doing the infamous video games theories. With that being said, GTA V is most likely will be revealed during Q4 of 2012 until Q2 2013 if we would take from Take Two’s Financial Call confirming to their investors that the company expects their shares to be ‘pushed’ for more than 2 dollars between those period.
Now, if we look close enough on those screenshots, we could see that there has been a huge improvement in terms of graphic over the previous instalments. Maybe Rockstar has found the solution to optimize their next game for Xbox 360 and PS3 or we could just see that the footage is derived from PC.
PC’s graphic has been comparable to the next-gen properties thanks to the online modding community found in various popular titles and guess what, GTA IV userbase has been quite active to demonstrate the power of PC gaming.
Whether or not we could see similar trend in GTA V is still yet to be seen.
No release date has been announced for GTA 5 but it will certainly hit the shelves for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

These graphics are just like max Payne 3 but in a very different environment, that said max Payne 3 was on Xbox 360 and PS3 so maybe that are getting the most out of these consoles before the next gen ones come. Afterall if GTA 5 is on Xbox 360 and PS3 it is very likely that it will be the last GTA on these consoles. Also I think it will be more than one disk (like max Payne 3 and La noire).
On the 360 though. Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire were on one disc on PS3.

ps4 and xbox 720 will probably never even happen cuz one maybe not the 360 but the ps3 still has alot it give us gamers and if the new gen comes out it will be WAY WAY WAY over priced, saying that i can just buy a amazing gaming pc and use my ps3 controller to play
Rockstar imo cant take as long as they wont anyway because it just mean the game will be better cuz its gunna be far more advanced then GTA 4 but with the world of San Andreas.
