MGS4 budget re-release will have Full-Install feature

MGS4 budget re-release will have Full-Install feature

Remember those annoying installs you have to sit through —with Snake blowing puffs of smoke at your face no less— when you go through each act in the original Metal Gear Solid 4? Well thankfully the budget re-release (or rather, called ‘The Best’ in Japan) will now have a “Full-Install” feature to ease that annoyance completely.

This basically means that there won’t be any more installations every time you finish an act and you’re continuing on to the next. No more warnings about the game telling you need to take a break because you’ve been playing for too long —really? More than half the game is spent watching those amazingly made cut scenes.

No indication on whether or not this feature will be made available along with the trophy patch we mentioned earlier, but most likely it should. At least we hope so that is.

Metal Gear Solid 4 “The Best” will be releasing in Japan early August at a MSRP of ¥3,990 (USD $50) exclusively for the PS3.
