Street Fighter X Tekken has come, gone and has celebrated its fair share of controversy.
Namco Bandai on the other hand has been keeping quite mum over their take on the clash of the 2 fighters, but Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada explains that “There’s still a large number of players out there with a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 who are looking forward to the game, so we feel it’s probably more relevant to get the title out to them on the current hardware.”
“We’re not completely sure, but that’s the direction at this moment” ending with an unsure expression.
Tekken X Street Fighter is the opposite of what Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken is. Instead of being on a 2D plane, Namco Bandai’s take will be on a 3D plane where you’d expect similar gameplay to the Tekken games.
Now at least we still know the game is still on route to the PS3 and Xbox 360, but in the mean time, Capcom could continue to try and milk their angry fans with a Super Street Fighter X Tekken? You can almost smell that they will.
