On the cover of The New Republic’s July issue, Kate Middleton’s face has been photoshopped with a set of yellow, decaying teeth.
The U.S. based politics and arts publication has sparked internet outrage with some claiming “shameful abuse” on the Duchess of Cambridge which is expected to attend this Sunday’s Wimbledon tennis final.
“No fan of the royals or Kate either, but its a shameful abuse of photoshop taking very cheap and nasty shot at the royals, Kate and Brits in general. I agree with the person who said they should be sued.” said Andrew from Broken Britain on Daily Mail’s website.
A number of people also claimed they never heard of the magazine. Bill from South Yorks said, “Never heard of the magazine, but i dislike it already. definitely a low-blow!”
The New Republic may have reached a low point, but the publication’s purpose seems to be commercially driven as opposed to artistic view.
