Battlefield 3 Premium to rival Elite with new upgrades

Just recently, Battlefield 3 Premium players were able to get their hands on the first expansion pack for the game in Close Quarters. This month will see a number of extra content to go with the new maps and game modes of the Close Quarters expansion.

In addition to that, Battlefield 3 Premium subscribers will get their first “Soldier Upgrades” later this month. This content is being dubbed on the Battlefield 3 Premium Calendar as “unique personalization options with a new batch of weapon camos and soldier camos.” These soldier dazzle hassles will be available on July 9th.

A Close Quarters Strategy Guide will also arrive this month and will be handed in PDF form to subscribers on the 3rd. This will come just in time for the upcoming Battlefield 3 Premium Double XP event, which begins today.

Battlefield Premium is on store shelves for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 for just $50.
