Sorry folks, the answer is no. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s PS3 and PC players will have to make a room – at least for a month – for the Xbox 360 as they get their early Dawnguard release on June 26.
It might have been worth it though. With gameplay time that could exceed 20 hours worth, Bethesda claims that the DLC is bigger than any that of ever released for Fallout 3, the studio’s other big title.
The plot of The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard involves the return of a Volkihar vampire lord named Harkon, who seeks to end the tyranny of the sun.
This addon as you might have known will feature two new perk trees: Vampire Lord and Werewolf. Rather than wasting points to get perks as in the base game, new perks are gained by feeding on enemies with the new powers.

Looks amazing as an add-on. Shame that Microsoft spend their money on freezing the PS3 and PC market out rather than simply making good exclusives for their own console…still at least we have the mods on PC to tide us over!

You’re wrong on every level. The PC is, by far, and unarguably the most bug-riddled version of the game. I think if you actually do your research before posting, hundreds of people would agree.
The PC is not the most bug-riddled version of the game. Almost every bug the PC has is common to all three platforms and almost all the unique bugs are self-inflicted by players using console commands. PS3 players got the shaft from day one with performance related issues.
Don’t forget: PC players can download mods to fix bugs AND, if they know what they’re doing, use console commands to side-step bugs. ATM, Skyrim on my PC is almost bugless. Also, for all you PC and PS3 users out there, just think on the bright side! When the DLC comes out for us, it will have been already somewhat bug tested by X-box users; less bugs for us!
And on the PC you can spawn in items i dont do that but you can the button above the tab press it then type in player.additem or player.placeatme then the ID of the item then say how much you want then press enter

umm i’m pretty sure it’s ps3 that was the most bug-riddled and has the worst rep for its compatability as a system. My ps3 version is just retarded I can’t go into a cave or city without every handicap taken off from the options. The new new vegas (game of the year) just cannot play on the ps3 because bethesda do S**T all to solve problems on the ps3 because the issues with it are hard to solve and they do not do enough hard work to make it work. Then there bringing out this 1.6 update that does not solve any of the problems on ps3. I’m pretty sure the ps3 is just the worst console to work with and not many companies go out of their way to solve the problems. YOU need to do your research!

I have the ps3, and not entirely technically inclined, but as far as I know, if you keep saving over the last save you made, you will almost never have a problem with lag. My brother refuses to listen to me and decides to make a new save every time on his ps3, but i’ve never had a problem since I only have one save file.
wat u talkin about my ps3 had no bugs and a few very cool glitches and it only takes at least 3 secs. to load dlc. i have only lagged a lot on x-box so do your research

It’s really not that bad. The Xbox version is nice and probably one of the best RPG’s FOR the Xbox. That being said, I play the PC version as of recent and I enjoy it more.

This game is almost impossible to play with ps3, loading, loadig loading all the time. U propably spend more time loading than gaming. Bought it for my PC instead, and now i have at least 90% less loading + better graphics
I have played this game on xbox AND ps3, and i must say NEITHER is better than the other. xbox has more quest glitches, ps3 has more mechanic gitches, and BOTH have many in quests and mechanics. microsoft made an agreement with bethesda for content on all games to be released on pc and ps3, at the earliest, 1 month after its release on xbox. pc user’s have always gotten the best deal in the elder scroll’s series with many more hotkey’s allowing faster access of the different menus, as well as mods. They can download player made patches for glitches and player made DLC to bide their time until official DLC is released, which is usuallly attained unofficialy anyway. Now to wait the remainder of time to get the dlc on ps3 D:
Even though it states that PS3 owners have to wait a month for the DLC. On IGN’s wiki it says that it will be available on July 4th. Now if that is true who knows. I will just have to wait and see.

That’s funny because I have a ps3 and it doesn’t take more than 10 seconds to load. Maybe your ps3 is glitching up. If you knew anything about mechanical engineering, then you would know that xbox is the least capable of running the game. All 3 run the game exceptionally well considering the how large the game really is. On the pc, the problem is that it’s on a pc, which nowhere near as fun as playing on a big screen. The xbox has problems with the fact that skyrim pushes it to its limit. The ps3 has problems in the fact that the game had glitches at first, but those were fixed up with patches. But the ps3 has NEVER had a loading problem.

PS3 gave us free games :3 Doesn’t suck! You just hating! Plus, It hardly takes mine but 4 seconds to load. It has to be your ps3 acting up. and no matter what system you play Skyrim on, It will always be an amazing games.

Lol I’ve had skyrim for the ps3 since it came out, yes it was “buggy” at the start, but now after these last few patches its been running fine for me ( B.S. on the super long loading screens -__- obviously the guy with the ps3 bashing name tag is gonna hate on ps3) Personaly I have both xbox and ps3 and think they are both great consoles! p.s. Bethesda wouldn’t make dlc exclusive content for xbox360 because thats a huge chunk of revenue that they are missing out on. Why would they stop at xbox, when they could practically double it with the inclusion of ps3 and pc??
