EA has been cancelling the Wii U version of an unidentified title which supposedly is already in development for Sony’s and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles as well as PC.
And that’s according to a NeoGAF member who had insider information in the past. While we may have to believe that it’s just a plain snack pile, let’s take a look at some of the details provided.
The game as we have been told, is coming from EA and has been utilizing the Frostbite engine. It was successfully ported to Wii U but according to the informer, there were concerns over the company’s ($EA) low performing stocks and the high cost of the project which could be the reasons why they scrapped the port for Nintendo’s upcoming console.
However, as we understand correctly, the big-budget title will still be going through the development phase for PC, PS4 and Xbox 720.
Well, if this rumour is anything but true, Nintendo needs to start investing a lot more money on the Wii U after going through a financial roller-coaster the past year.
