Microsoft has announced a new tablet called Microsoft Surface at a Los Angeles event earlier today. It will be running Microsoft’s Windows 8 which is developed specifically for mobile devices.
It will feature a built in kickstand on the back of the tablet and a snap on cover which doubles as a touch-type keyboard and has a multitouch trackpad. The tablet should also feature Microsoft’s latest Smart Glass system.
Running Windows 8, the tablet presumably should be able to play any games that is compatible with the OS and with the available USB port, Xbox or PC controller support is feasible.
