Rumor – Microsoft document details Xbox 720, Kinect 2 and more

A two-year old 56-page document from Microsoft showing their next generation plans was discovered on Scribd. According to Joystiq, the document have since been taken down due to copyright infringement as requested by a law firm called Covington and Burling.

The document details the Xbox 720 will be released in 2013 for $299.99 together with Kinect V2. The document also states that the Xbox 720 will be coming with Blu-ray and will feature games that are 4x-6x better than the current Xbox.

Augmented reality glasses was also revealed in the document dubbed the Fortaleza. However, it will only be available in 2014.

This could be a fake, a heavily detailed one at that but one of the products mentioned in document was Microsoft’s Smart Glass which could lend a bit of credibility to it. You can download the document here, courtesy of Game Informer.
