In a Q&A session with fans on the PlayStation Blog, producer Matt Charles said that technical issues from the first game is being worked on for the second.
Framerate issues are being looked and while “it’s too early for me to give any final numbers”. He said “you will see an improvement over the first game.” Voice chat will be better this time around and “that a portion of our programming team is working on voice chat issues right now so they will be working for everyone when the game launches!”
A number of other improvements and changes have also been made such as better user interfaces overall and that the game will not feature carryable health packs. Players will also pick up ammo and currency automatically now.
