You don’t need to have a Vonage account because it uses the money on your iTunes account to pay for the calls. Calls start at .99 cents for 15 minutes and you can call over 100 countries! All you have to do is start the app, pick your home country, the country you want to call and the phone number you want to dial. It will tell you the cost before you make the call. That’s it! I need an iPad because I travel a lot for work and lugging a laptop around would be too cumbersome. With the iPad I could check/send emails quickly, browse product details/ifo, update my customers via social media and conduct presentations to clients anywhere in the world. I’ve been wanting an iPad 2 so bad for so long now, and so I really hope I win it. When the original iPad came out, I thought it was nice, but I wasn’t overly impressed. When the iPad 2 came out, it was like “WOW”, because it was so much thinner and even more sleek, with graphics that look even more razor sharp. And so I entered all kinds of contests to win one, but I was never lucky enough to win. One contest was a daily contest that lasted for about 2 months where I tweeted and posted Facebook entries every day (some of my Facebook friends were less than thrilled seeing the same Facebook post day after day for 2 months), but again, no win for me. ? And with money being so tight these days, I really don’t have $500+ to spend on an iPad 2. Not to mention that I’m presently unemployed (over the past 5 years, I’ve been unemployed for about half that amount of time). Thankfully, I do have an iPhone 4, which I love and make very good use of, and I’m quite content just having an iPhone. But to have an iPad 2 would be a dream come true to me, and although I see the iPad 2 as an unnecessary luxury, it sure would be a nice luxury to have. But hey, I have many things in my life to be thankful for, and I know from experience that material things don’t bring true and everlasting happiness. Well I’m in love with the myriad of apps on the iPad, and being a grad student in an engineering college with a few management classes, I always need to refer papers and articles off the net, not to mention catch a few videos off youtube during breaks. Since Wifi is omnipresent on campus, a 3G iPad is unnecessary. Pretty much everyone other than me has an iPad or iPad 2 on campus whereas I lug around this heavy laptop, half of whose facilities I don’t need

I need the iPad so I can use it traveling. Carrying the laptop is such a pain and so bulky and heavy. An iPad is so much more compact and convenient.
