I also have used skyfire on my phone before, I still have it installed, but it no longer works. There is no "File > Open" feature on that app as well. That app doesn't have the actual Flash Plugin built in, what it does is sends your request through their servers, then the skyfire servers will decode the Flash stuff and then send the finished product back to your phone. So basically anyone who uses Skyfire, gets all their surfing habits tracked by Skyfire; which is another reason to stop using them.

Exactly my point Da_Dios! How many machines out there do you think do not have the "proper hardware?" It has to be in the thousands. There is really no way we can tell. Then count how many machines are out there like mine, with a 2.16 or less GHZ proc with a pre 8800 nvidia card, that should be able to process this shit, but doesn't, because Adobe refuses to use video cards below the 8800 level. It's gotta be in the thousands as well and again there is no way we can tell. This is exactly why sites should lower there base resolution for videos, with the option to increase if needed. Every time I watch a Hiphopgamer video here on the Bit Bag, I never have any issues; but when I attempt to watch a .flv video on Hiphop's own site, I get a slutty slide show. Say that five times fast! This is because Tor lowers the resolution before he posts it on TheBitBag.com; at least this is what I think happens. The last time I checked out Hiphop's site, I downloaded a vidicle; it was over 500 MB and took over an hour to download. 500 MB usually doesn't take that long for me to download, but the service that Hiphop uses only gave me so much bandwidth. Because of this issue, I couldn't effectively show my friend what Hiphopgamer was all about from his own site. I don't think it's HipHop's fault too. It's freaking Adobe and their Flash product. Yes their Flash player product is installed on 99% of home PCs, but they should release a different demographic; the amount of those PCs that effectively play their shit!

Lol @ Shaz. I've NEVER had that problem outside of buffering. Also tsk, tsk, tsk thinking you can use you old MinMo phone.... should have used skyfire when they were still supporting your OS. You take the long road to success, rather than that of least resistance. I'm no advocate flash supporter BUT you took an article based on PRE flash 10.1 also note the hardware.... Times have changed, flash isn't the best but it's whats out there. HTML5 is still years behind from becoming the dominating force for content on the web and even or better yet IF it does (chances are it will) flash isn't going to just die. Flash hogs up CPU cycles yes but if you don't have proper hardware to support the acceleration than you've already wasted your time.
