  1. i was going to get one these phones next week. but i switched to verzion and picked up the new driod phone wife and daughter still on t mobile maybe they will get one.

    • these phones won’t be available until november 8th on AT&T and mid november on T-mobile but the HD7 on t-mobile looks amazing! i’m working on getting one to review.

      • jeez that long then i made the right choice

        • Daniel Lawson says:

Verison blows ass… I’m going to say you made the wrong choice

        • Yeah Verizon looks to have a monster of a line-up to spearhead next year with showcasing a new iPhone and WP7. It’s almost going to be just insane to choose from. But if you just switched to Verizon, it means you won’t be able to pick up a WP7 until way later possibly late 2011 early 2012 because of your contract. I mean you could switch but you’d be paying full retail on the phone…. a.k.a Arm and a leg type dollars.

    • Have no fear they are bringing the WP7 experience to Verizon and Sprint next year. GSM launch this year only next year CDMA. There will be enough WP7 love to go around.

      • i probaly will get to play with one of those if i show my daughter xbox live on it she will want that one. also they are both do for discounts on new phones so it wont be that bad. was not that bad switching to verzion so far so good.plus i like my new driod.but very curious to see those windows7 phones they look really good.

  2. @Torrence, I hope you guys talk about this on the next Warzone. I want this phone for the XBOX LIVE & Halo Waypoint features alone but it isn’t on Sprint/Nextel. I’m not giving up my service since 03 for fun. How soon will other carriers get this phone?

    • actually sprint will be getting the HTC 7 Pro in the first half of 2011, verizon still hasn’t made an announcement. i’m actually kinda jealous of sprint, i have the touchpro 2 and i like the slide out keyboard and htc’s quality!

  3. That was a awesome commercial.

  4. to little to late, we tried out the new samsung WIN7 at my job , needless to say epic fail. Reason market support is none existant they imported the Zune layout structure for it but the home screen isnt fully custimizable and the notifications are extremly archaic when compared to androids offerings. These OS reminds me of Web OS with its limitations and all of the phones listed that where getting ( At&T ) look more or less to have little or no impact on the market due to there very limited appeal with there OS. I was very dissapointed with Win Phone 7 but then again in this market you need something more then state you have live integration when in reality its not full integration at all. As a media player its a ZUNE HD as a phone its really horrid. They need a reason for a consumer to ask themselves why go windows…and they have failed horridly in my view from a hands-on expiernce. I had more fun playing with the new samsung tablet running froyo . Also the quality of the OS seems to be really basic compared to the beauty of IOS and especially froyo and gingerbread coming out.

    • where exactly do you work that you got your hands on a windows phone 7 device? from everything i have read online, your comment here is the only negative thing i’ve read about windows phone 7. they have plenty of support from all over the market. infact most developers are saying it is the easiest platform to develope for. so again, i ask you where exactly do you work that you got hands on with the new win phone 7 and did you get final hardware and software or did you get a developers unit. the developers unit was lacking in most of those areas for a reason… it wasn’t finalized. only about a week ago did the marketplace start recieving apps.

    • What are you experiencing with notifications to say that they’re archaic? When they demoed it they look very unobtrusive and they talked about how it sits on a bar on the top of the screen and tapping it opens a screen for said notification. The phone is said to be one of the most responsive in the touch screen realm. Navigation seems to be very intuitive and straight forward with the “Hubs”. To me it seems to be a very complete package.

      • i concur w/ da_dios… this looks th be a big contendor! i really think rblover69 is a fanboy slinging mud for no real reason. the only negative thing online about windows phone 7 is in this comments thread and i’m not going to delete it because i don’t believe in that and i think it is better to leave the comment up so rblover69 can be called out in the future if the reviews are as positive as i think they will be.

  5. @rblower69, Are you saying the XBOX LIVE & Halo Waypoint features dont work? If thats the case, I’ll save my $400 I was going to use to buy 2 WP7 phones for my son & I. All I need is email, website gaming, calls, text, camera, pictures & I’m good. XBOX LIVE & Halo Waypoint is the sales pitch to at least 1million sales of this phone from the XBOX LIVE Community. That is why this phone will work with the buying public. Now, if the LIVE & Halowaypoint dont work it will be an Epic Fail. Now do those features work or not? I’m like the Soccer Mom is to the Wii, she doesn’t need HD, online, or party chat: I & others are interested in LIVE & Halo Waypoint.
