Thrustmaster Launches New Realistic Joystick

Thrustmaster Launches New Realistic Joystick

If you’re looking for a full replica of a real U.S. Air Force A-10C attack aircraft for your gaming needs, Thrustmaster may have the closest to the real thing you are going to find. The HOTAS WARTHOG™ has been unveiled as their new flagship gaming joystick available for your PC gaming needs for only $499.99 MSRP. The question is, is this joystick worth the just under $500 price tag. Coming in a two piece configuration the joystick is separate from the throttles and features 19 action buttons with the real resistance of an actual airplane. The throttles offer a dual throttle system featuring 17 action buttons and utilize an afterburner detent giving allowing you to control different virtual aircraft as realistically as possible. The throttles are based on a control panel with 15 action buttons and a friction and trim wheel again allowing you to customize the resistance of the throttles to fit your needs. The throttles and joystick use a magnetic sensor system giving you 14 and 16 bit precision respectively. Weighing just over 14 lbs the HOTAS WARTHOG™ constructed mostly of metal may be just what the flight enthusiast wants giving them a new peripheral to play with for their long awaited Microsoft flight sim when it is released.
