New DLC Arriving For Metro 2033 On Tuesday

Metro 2033 will be getting a DLC pack coming next Tuesday available on Steam and Xbox Live Marketplace. The Ranger Pack provides players with newer achievements to collect, newer weapons like the Heavy Automatic Shotgun, and the Volt Driver. Two new modes have been added to make the game that much harder for players to beat – ‘Ranger Mode’ and ‘Ranger Hardcore.’ Because in Ranger mode, your weapons can dish out a lot more damage than before, but your ammo will be reduced a lot. But that’s not all, there is also a mode for folks that want an extra challenge, too. In ‘Ranger Hardcore’, your HUD has been completely removed throughout the game providing a harder experience.

* The Ranger Pack will cost 240 Microsoft Points, or hop over to Steam and it will be provided for you for free through an automatic update on the PC.
