Ok I know what you are thinking, you are thinking “well that is just his work, I am sure there is plenty of other articles that give the site balance so that it can look like a neutral site run by a guy who we as gamers can get out gaming information from that isn’t bias”.
Ok lets take a look at the balance of the site which is a DIRECT REPRESENTATION of the person who runs it….
11/18 articles are Pro Sony = 61%
Ok so now you are thinking, thats not bad, that just means that the other 39% is Pro MS then….well lets take a look shall we….
2/18 articles are Pro MS = 11%
Ok, so now you are questioning my Math. Now you are thinking “MOTY obviously you don’t know what you are talking about, your percentages don’t even come close to 100% when you add them together, you are still missing 28%”. Well there is a reason for that. And here it is….
3/18 articles are negative MS = 16%
while
1/18 articles are negative PS3 = 6%
and

I did this because I see ONCE AGAIN another Pro Sony Title that Torrence had to change in order for it to be posted on TheBitBag.
How ANYONE can take HHG serious boggles my mind. His site is a Pro Sony site with nothing more than his constant brigade of Positive Sony ball rubbing and Negative MS dirt kicking propaganda.

Me. 3d in my eyes isn’t proven yet for gaming. I’m sure in some cases it can work well but from what I’ve heard on my sites the 3d in motorstorm works only when standing still because when shut is falling u don’t really notice it because u r moving so fast.

Enjoyed the video but I think HHG is going on about the wrong game in terms of the quality it will bring, I gave him a tip two months ago on here to research whats going on at Sony Studio Liverpool UK and yesterday:

they are making two games, a “uncharted” futuristic setting style game codenamed “The Protector” and a new Wipeout, which from what I’ve been told is fucking top dollar. Sadly he didnt bother to even check this out, nevermind.
As for all the Pro-Sony stuff, I can understand where people are coming from with this in a way, it excites me in that I play PS3 aswell as DS and 360 so I look forward to whats coming but another feeling in me is that it reeks of over the top promotion for one machine over the others and looks a bit silly especially when he calls himself “Gamer”. if any game will push the console and sony sales its GT5, we have sony down at our store tomorrow as our store has been open 10 years and they are bringing gt5 and move to let customers play and giving out games as part of a fastest lap competition. we have had more pre orders and more interest in this game, than halo reach, kinect, move and call of duty black ops and black ops will wipe the floor (sales wise) with all games this year aside from gt5 globally overall. as for being a good game i dont think COD will be a good game, its strange how an 18 rated game is played mainly by children under 15 years old, halo is also tired for me.
motorstorm 3 looks very good, kind of a blend of split second and burnout really, but GT5 is the truth

I agree with you that GT5 is the game to be looking out for and not Motorstorm.
But I don’t agree that GT5 “globally” will outsell Halo Reach Globally.
But only time will tell. Looking forward to how each game is received and purchased. I for one am getting GT5 and Halo Reach…LOL the advantages of owning both systems, I get to play the best of BOTH worlds.

The GT series since day 1 has had ZERO, ZILCH, NADA competition on any console. GT was the ONLY game closest to a SIM racing game on the market. This continued up until Forza 1 was released on the Xbox. If you wanted a driving game, you bought GT.
PS1 release date 1994 (100 million units sold)
GT1 release date 1997 – 10.85 Million (2 years on the market until GT 2 came out)
GT2 release date 1999 – 9.37 million
Playstation 2 release date 2000(140 million units sold)
GT3 A-Spec release date 2000 – 14.89 million
GT4 release date 2005 – 10.55 million
Playstation 3 release date 2006 (38.1 million units sold)
GT5: Prologue release date 2008 (3.81 million units sold)
Xbox 360 release date 2005 (41.5 million units sold)
Halo 3 release date 2007 – 11.08 million
So I hope I haven’t lost you yet. The ONLY GT game to beat Halo 3 in sales was GT3 A-Spec at 14.89 million units. And again there was NO COMPETITION on the market at the time AND there were over 100 MILLION PS2 consoles on the market. Halo 3 has sold 11.08 million with ONLY 41.5 million consoles on the market. That is less than HALF the amount of PS2′s that were on the market during the release of GT 3 AND the difference in sales was only 3.81 million units. And lets not forget that Halo 3 is in the hottest genre right now while GT 5 is in an over saturated genre now where it wasn’t before until Forza came out.
Bottom line, GT will do well but the PS3 only has 38.1 million consoles on the market and will probably hit 43 million by end of year. As of right now REACH is destroying GT5 in pre orders. All the data is right there on the internet if you choose to do some research. GT5 will do around 9 – 10 million lifetime and that is assuming (and a rather large assumption) that the PS3 will sell at least 100 million units this gen. That means Halo 3 would have beat GT5 in sales and with the current pre order predictions right now, it’s more than a safe bet to assume Reach will beat GT 5 in total overall lifetime global sales.
There’s your weight right there bro. Lets hear your counter argument. What are your predictions and show me the research you did to come up with it.

That’s not even a real comparison, because GT: prologue wasn’t even suppose to be released, but the game was taking so long, and the fans were asking for it so much, PD decided to make a game that would give them an appetite
GT: prologue didn’t have to sell 10 million, neither did PD expect it to, the best thing that came out of them releasing it, is they had more money to add to GT:5′s budget

ODST WAS’T a typical Halo game. It was a side story and lacked the online multiplayer that Halo had. ODST was NOT a full game. Like I stated above, over 5 million copies sold, and only 2 million played the BETA, so what’s with the other 3 million. Maybe they bought it because they wanted it and didn’t care if they were in the BETA.

3D gaming doesn’t mean much to me right now because I won’t be purchasing a 3D t.v. for another 2 years or so. I don’t get why people are bitchin and complaining about it like you have to play in 3D. You have the option to play in 3D if you want to. It’s like people are complaining because they want to try 3D gaming but they know they don’t have the money to purchase a 3D t.v. (I don’t myself at this time) so they bitch about because at this time it’s not in alot of peoples buget to purchase what’s needed for 3D viewing. All major t.v. manufacturers are making 3D t.v.’s because it’s an option they are giving their consumers. I went to Best Buy and got a demo of a 3D t.v. and the shit was tight ! It was way better then what you get in the theater and one of the fist things I thought about was I wounder how games would look. If they look anything like what I saw then in my opinion 3D gaming will be SICK !!
I want to know if 3D games will cost more and making everything 3D isn’t a stealthy way to increase game prices (probably by $10), just like making a normal movie a 3D movie at the last raises ticket prices (like Clash of the Titans).
I hope they don’t raise the price of games for an option that you might not use. It would be stupid of them to raise the price of the games since games are already exspensive as it is. Movie tickets for 3D movies cost more because you have to pay to rent the glasses, your not paying more for the movie it’s self.

EA is already looking into charging for the 3D feature. I posted the link just above. Sucks to be us having to pay extra for a feature in a game that the majority of the gaming community won’t be able to utilize unless you spend the money for a new 3DTV.

EA is always looking for cheap dirty tricks to earn more money. Look in the psn store alone. They have dlc out for games that arent even out yet. I mean they are even charging people to buy items that can be unlocked by playing the game.
Charging a premium for 3d will likely fail and force publisher to not charge extra.
I disagree. Developers will see that if people have the money to buy 3DTV’s, then they must have the money to pay for the feature in the games. What’s an extra $10 in each 3D game compared to the couple thousand you spend on your brand new 3DTV?
I think developers will follow suit and all PS3 3D games will cost more.

As for people buying herbs well going from a crt/ tube tv to a HDTV has many advantages besides hd. I have a 36″ jvc tv that weighs 190lbs and takes of 3 feet in width and almost 30″ in depth. My HDTV in my other room is a 40″ weighing 40lbs and is on the wall. I also doubt most people want to keep upgrading tbs every 2 years because someone developed new tech.years ago I went to pc Richards and they had a $30,000 40″ plasma now they are $1000 and working the past 6 yrs we’ve had plasma, LCD 60 lcd120 lcd240 led now 3d tech is
Moving too fast for our economy. I want to get a new 40″ to replace my 36 jvc tube but I’m hesitant because new tech keeps getting developed I don’t want to missout. I’m sure most people who are now videophiles feel the same way

Eventually when the tech gets better and tv prices continue to drop… more and more 3d tvs will be bought and the households with it will increase… thats just the natural flow of things because eventually most tvs will be 3d capable not because people want 3d.
Its just like 60hz vs 120 etc… 60 is just getting phased out more and more because the tech for 120 and up is cheaper and those tvs usually carry better stats and tech such as more hdmi slots or higher contrast and quicker response times etc.

3DTV’s is new, expensive tech. Like you said CHOZINWON, “This is the same exact situation.” HDTV’s have now just been hitting the mainstream due to it’s lower cost. And how long has HDTV’s been on the market? The first Plasma TV came out around 1997. In about 13 years, the average consumer is just now upgrading due to the low cost of an HDTV. So, like you said, “this is the same exact situation” 3DTV’s will not hit the mainstream until the prices for 3DTV’s come down, and like you said “this is the same exact situation” it will take about 10 – 15 years till 3DTV become the next TV the average consumer will upgrade their HDTV’s to.
just had sony in our store to demo gran turismo and move on a debug unit, wow let me tell you move is crazy acurrate the table tennis and fighting game are sick,im not keen on motion but they are certainly taking up a step from the wii that is clear from getting hands on with move.
and gran turismo is easily gonna be the biggest selling game this year, (globally). just think about japan they love the game and they are not big on shooters or xboxs in general.
of course the kiddie COD will sell like its going out of fashion.

Leaving all that aside: hopefully being totally independent of any fanboy console partisanship, I am EXTREMELY resentful of the growing 3D wave. I bought my first HDTV less than 5 years ago, my second one LESS THAN ONE YEAR ago, and already the entertainment industry is telling me these units are outdated? I’d like to add that the work I do for this website is only “paid” in that the review software is given to us, there is NO monetary compensation. I work 40-60 hours every week to contribute to my family’s budget, and each of the two HDTVs I mentioned was a significant investment that took time to work into the budget. Now the leading electronics brands want me to repurchase? Yes, I’m aware I don’t HAVE to spend my money on anything new; the point I’m making is that technology’s lifecycle seems so much shorter.
