Tron is an amazing MOVIE! Absolute CLASSIC and if you are going to see the 2nd movie you, you really need to see the 1st. Anyone who doesn’t want to see the 1st movie but is willing to see the 2nd movie is just not a true movie concourse. I bought TRON not too long ago and wow, took me back when I was a kid.
Yeah I enjoyed Tron myself, didnt see it till around 1986 when i was very little but have fond memories of it. good warzone anyway

I didn’t like E.T. either – if that tells you anything. The movie was rather cheaply made just to quickly capitalize off arcades. Result: The special effects are slightly above meh for an 80′s film made two years after Empire Strikes Back. But as a fully grown Sheikh, I own the movie now because it is a really good story.
i might have to give it a chance and watch it tonight. i’ve had the movie sitting on my/in my desk for the last 4 months and i still haven’t gotten around to watching it. i seriously cannot wait for the 2nd movie, i think i have watched the trailers for it more than 20 times…..and Daft Punk is supposed to be working on the OST for tron legacy…..Fuck Yeah!

DEAD SPACE day 1 purchase for me. I actually started another campaign just the other day because it’s so great. Going for my last and final achievement in that game to get 100% of them.

If the vidicle or article does NOT contain any information that a title states, then you are misleading the reader or viewer. You have a HISTORY of misleading and misrepresenting. If the Warzone jumps from topic to topic, then I will create a response that is on topic to the topic that is being covered on warzone. That way if people respond to my comment, it is a string of comments that is on topic to the topic that was covered on the warzone. This way it keeps everything in an organized manner.

First off I suggested… MOTY is not the only person I have suggested this to (you should know this 1st hand)… Its spamming the comments when you make 5 out of the first 12 comments. Its better for everyone if you make it into one or 2 comments instead of 5-6 comments. That make its easier to avoid comments if they dont want to read it instead of having to go through a whole bunch of them. The reader can comment on any topic they want but they dont need 4 comments in a row… all that has to be is 1 comment.. just hit edit and fill in your info its not that hard. @mboo exactly when the editing was an issue I let it slide… editing option is fixed so no need for continuous 3-4 comments that could have been 1 I have no issue with multiple comments if there is a reason.. but to address one person with 3 different comments in a row…(@HHG) in this situation is unacceptable and just clutters the comment section. i’ve posted a comment before on how tor has subliminally told HHG to stop with these ridiculous over sensationalized titles but tor deleted it anyway, eventually he’s going to have to stop with it, it was good for him to getting notice, but now he it’s just burning bridges with even developers hating the titles there are 2 type of people who doesn’t like HHg 1. Got to agree with Jon Shaw, if you don’t like his titles don’t post them on the site or accept them as they are. And if you don’t like his post then why click on them and watch and complain, if you don’t like something you don’t keep going back to it you simply leave the shit alone. The only things that need to be omitted are the vulgarities in various posts, that has been taken care of, I believe. Great show. Superman was a stalker in that movie. I really need to play Dead Space, it’s been sitting on my shelf for 7 or 8 months now. Dead Space 2 is really looking good i might get it day 1 depending on how much I like Dead Space.

Fragking: Great question on sales, & its a given Nintendo will outsell everything. However, this site is PS3 & 360 primarily. M$ will destroy the PS3 this fall in the sales category: Kinect: 3+million sold Kinect Games: 3 titles will sell 1+million, maybe a 4th million seller Halo:Reach: 6+million Fable: 2+million 360 Console: will outsell the PS3 every single Month, period.

Like Pachter, I learned forecasting in college, videogames are my hobby, I know it well so why not. I’m right more often than not. Playing games is much better than spending hundreds of dollars a week at a club or bar with the fellas. We play games with our families & ourselves, clean way to enjoy life. Blizzard is the ‘AAA game’ company these days. They won’t release anything that doesn’t fall under ‘AAA’. They killed Warcraft Adventures not because it was a bad game but because it would have been only an ‘A’ rated game. ‘AAA’, ‘A’, and ‘B’ level games have nothing to do with how good the game is. If I wrote the world’s greatest space invader’s clone today and even if it had great graphics, great sound, and was totally rock solid, it would still be a ‘B’ class game. Only a handful of games each year make it out as ‘AAA’ because the bar is so high to be a ‘AAA’ game. It costs millions of dollars to create a ‘AAA’ game. My personal favorite game, Total Annihilation, barely makes it out as a ‘AAA’ game because it didn’t have full motion video through out, the units didn’t talk. It’s a ‘AAA’ game still but just barely. So even the best and funnest games may not be ‘AAA’ games. Starcraft is a great example of a ‘AAA’ game and I’ll use it because it’s also an excellent game. Games like Entrepreneur, Panzer General and Warlords III would be great examples of ‘A’ games. They may be as fun or even funner than ‘AAA’ games but don’t have the budgets behind them of a Starcraft. No full motion video between every level, they are about the game, not the game and experience. Deer Hunter is a great example of a ‘B’ class game in quality. Cheap to make. And where Deer Hunter changed the world was in discovering that a ‘B’ level game can now make as much money, if not more than a ‘AAA’ game. And believe me, the game designers of ‘AAA’ game companies are probably sweating a bit about Deer Hunter. Because corporations are about profit and if they can make more money cranking out ‘B’ titles they will. But that’s for another discussion entirely. Historically, ‘AAA’, ‘A’, and ‘B’ games represented how much money you’d put in and get back. A ‘AAA’ game may cost a ton to create but they bring back the big bucks. They are the games of the year, they are the 2 million plus unit sellers. Myst, Dialbo, and Starcraft, these are ‘AAA’ games.”

@ Mikemadden Nowadays AAA is based solely on the average of review scores. Since the cost of how much a game is to develop is not always released to the public. Reviewers are now adopting the “lingo” and applying it to review statuses. @ UsCoMmAnDeR AAA status has NOTHING to do with amount of units sold but rather the amount of accumulated revenue the company received for that product. Sales or (total units sold) is only an indicator as to what the majority of consumers are willing to spend their hard earned money on over a competing product IN THE SAME GENRE. Wii Fit has HUGE sales because within the Wii demographics, that is a product that the majority of Wii owners are willing to purchase. I love it when the Sony faithful try to use the Wii Fit argument to counter sales vs. quality. Logic is just not a friend to the Sony Sheep
Just started listening to the show, and even though I don’t have either Blur or Split Second, I could tell right off the bat, before Blur even came out that it wasn’t going to be a “wise” purchase for PS3 users. Why? Because this is Bizzare’s first game on the PS3 and I wasn’t expecting them to deliver that well….kinda like Platinum Games with BAYONETTA. Personally, I would have bought Split Second instead if given the choice. –my take as a PS3 only owner.
I purchased both games and they are both offer completly different gameplay that are enjoyable off and online. I am a dual owner but have them on the 360.
I’m not denying that Blur isn’t or that I was concerned about the XBOX 360′s version… Bizzare are primarily 360 developers and they develop-led the game that way. No big deal for me, since I knew not to buy the game from the start (a sort of consumer wisdom), but it should be no surprise that the PS3′s version of Blur wasn’t 100% seamless….just as Torrence Davis explained of his own experience. So, for me, as a PS3 owner…..Split Second it is.

Torrence Davis, I’m listening to the “editing titles” part. You were right to change the Kinect title….but you were dead wrong to change the Bungie Loves HHG title. The the Kinect one, you were legitimately trying to clean up the title for the purpose of making it FACTUAL evidence…that was a good thing you did. However, in the Bungie title, you did it for YOUR OWN purposes, simply because YOU didn’t care for it. It’s almost akin to how you sometimes make fun of HHG’s belt….YOU have a personal issue and you were trying to push you own PERSONAL agenda onto HHG and HIS OWN video article…basically trying to form it to your own personal taste. This is my question look at the bitbag and hiphopgamer show.com as a store. hipgamershow is a book, now do you change the the title of the book at each store you sell it in? If you don’t like it of feels it promotes something you don’t support you just don’t sell the book in your store. The editor in chief ALWAYS goes over every article and determines if the title represents the content. This is done in EVERY news paper and magazine before the article goes out to print. Torrence is the Editor in Chief of TheBitBag, thus he determines if the title represents the content that is covered in the vidicle. The Editor in Chief’s holds the right, and technically is his/her job, to ensure the content of the article is precise with a proper title. The article represents the name of the company that issues the paper or magazine…like The Times. The writing in that article has to be at a certain professional level in order to be published in the magazine or else the content in the magazine wouldn’t interest the readers. Same thing on TheBitBag. The content has to be legit and reasonable content…in other words, up to a certain level so that Torrence feels is adequate to be a representation of his website. I for one feel that Torrence should NOT allow HipHopGamers content on his site because of the contents low standards. Never researched, mis-leading information, and extreme biasness. But I am not the Editor in Chief, Torrence is, so he feels that the content is fine, but the Title needs to be adjusted to PROPERLY inform the viewer as to what to expect within the article or vidicle.

If HHG wants to run his work on Torrences network, it has to be compatible to Torrences settings. The content is still there but the file has to agree with Torrences server in order to run correctly. No tampering. It’s just rules. So stop with all this Pro HHG bullshit and why don’t you help Torrence help HHG become a better journalist.

Sony had no idea who was interested in it or who in the future would be interested in it . A better suited title would be “Sony’s passing on 3DV allowed MS to Kinect”. I love the warzone and all but sometimes the immaturity of the guys is annoying. Tor mentioned the Black hole remake and it went exactly where I thought it was gonna go. I don’t know which was worse, the response to the black hole or the fact that no one but Tor has seen it. It’s not because he’s old that he’s seen it. I’m thirty and I’ve seen this movie several times throughout my life. You guys need to watch some old school sci-fi movies. Like Tor said, just because a movie is old doesn’t mean it’s bad. In my opinion most old school movies kick the crap out of the newer ones.
You must be old to take offense to them making jokes. Ive never heard of black hole other than in science class. Torrence has said some pretty risque comments in the past so people like to make jokes about his choice of words from time to time.
I guess you didn’t read the part where I said I was thirty. Now unless you are a teenager or something, thirty is not considered old. My point is that I’m a relatively young guy who watches old movies. Why? Because I enjoy films and older movies are of higher quality than newer films. Also, I never said I was offended. Silly but whens its midnight when the podcast is recorded everybody seems to be a in a goofy mood, which can be both good and bad.
X-Men: Children of the Atom was THE SHIT on the Sega Saturn. The animations were not as good as the arcade version but the gameplay was tight as hell like all capcom fighting games. To this day when my friends and I talk about tough bosses in video games we go “is he Magneto hard?”. Even though I did manage to beat him with every character (I had to see all of the endings of course) I still think back on that fight with terror in my heart. Bring that back please! And while you’re at it capcom, bring back X-Men vs Street fighter which is my favorite fighting game of all time.

I love how people try and tell me how to run my site. It’s quite interesting. If you must know why(again) I change HHG’s titles here it is: Someone said the last title didn’t need a change. Well I think putting “Bungie Loves Hiphopgamer” in the title is self serving and had nothing to do with the content at hand. I wouldn’t let anyone post a title like that on my site. It’s unprofessional and goes against my journalistic agenda. I don’t care if you don’t like it. It is something you’ll have to deal with. I do, however, agree that titles should be changed prior to being posted on the site. I have asked HHG to set his posts to Pending for my approval before posting. This should stop the confusion with the fans who come here and also give HHG a chance to discuss his titles with me before they are posted.
