ATLONA Releases USB Powered VGA To HDMI Converter

ATLONA Releases USB Powered VGA To HDMI Converter

ATLONA has released an HDMI converter for VGA monitor output. The nice thing about this new adapter is it connects to your stereo headset for sound and USB for power. Now I know a lot of laptops have the ability built in to just connect an adapter but for those of you running a netbook and want to connect to that nice HDTV in your home, this is a nice and easy fix. Atlona’s HDViEW bridges the gap between your computer and your HDTV, allowing a simple solution for integrating your computer into your home theater. The HDViEW connects to the standard VGA monitor port on any computer, and outputs 1080P video through HDMI, the new standard for HD video. Since the HDViEW is powered through USB, there is no need for an additional bulky power supply. The HDViEW also takes audio from your computer’s speaker or headphone jack, and embeds it with the video over HDMI, so you’ll only have one cable going to your TV. The HDViEW is a powerful video processor with price so low, you can’t afford not to get one
