Today while going through my mountains of E-Mails, I discovered a small bit of news from Atari. Atari is releasing a new version of it’s popular Atari Flashback mini console system. The introduction of the Atari Flashback 2+ Classic Gaming Console is available on the official website for $39.99 plus $15.00 s/h. The console has been beefed up substantially from it’s previous console and will offer new gamers to retro gaming the opportunity to play the Atari 2600 in an almost identical form factor as it’s predecessor. That screenshot of Asteroids looks a little off though, I seem to remember the asteroids being solid objects – different version?
