I have no major gripes with any of the choices here (since I didnt put my 2 cents in to the voting lol). Only thing I would like to mention is that Flower and Assassin’s Creed 2 should get some recognition, but obviously not awards. Assassin’s Creed 2 was my 2nd favorite game of the year behind Uncharted 2, but since they are in the same categories obviously AC2 cant win anything. Flower was just very innovative and enjoyable. Oh yeah, I loved Uncharted 2′s score.

Not by me. I actually bought the Shatter OST. It’s really good. My votes don’t count around here. lol But to be fair I’ll admit I never did submit any votes.
I love me some shatter. I havent even heard of dishwasher.
Only gripe I have is “best developer” I I think I would have chosen capcom. All ND dropped was uncharted. Actually It would be a tie between capcom and insomniac

What about all the others like Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, Dead Rising for the Wii and the Neopets for Wii, DS and PC.
Capcom have done more in 09 than any other developer. And that’s not including all the Street Fighter 2 XBLA, PSN games.

Crapcom is overrated. Sure SF4 was great but resident evil was not a good game. The game no longer sticks to its roots. It becoming another generic shooter with big explosion. Graphically its still one to the top games this gen so I wont knock it too hard.
You mention neopets wtf is that. You call me a kid when ur supposedly older than me playing a wii and to make it worse. If your over the age of 14 playing the wii by yourself is just weird.

Awesome list BitBag crew. Shame AC2 didnt get any awards tho. I really enjoy the story and the environment of this game. If there was an award for most improved franchise they would win this by a landslide.
AC2 got a vote from me for best story, but I guess the rest of the staff enjoyed UC2s more.
No gripes here, but i have a question was the voting only consisting of console games? My vote would have gone to Dawn of War 2 one of the best strategy games that came out in 09. Other than that good nominees. Oh yeah Dragon Age hmmmm not best rpg huh.

Great awards. I would agree with them all….except for 1. Best multiplayer…Red Faction…Now I know Tor was throwing his weight around to get that game on there.
