For years and years the stereotypical ‘bad’ Christmas gift has been a lump of coal…or you know, socks. However, Capcom fans will be getting a very different surprise this holiday season. That’s right, you all get a plentiful amount of DELAYS! Super Street Fighter IV, Lost Planet 2, and Montser Hunter Tri have all been pushed back to at least April of 2010. Their reasoning for said action is chuckle inducing, why is that you ask? Well Capcom stated that they’d rather not have to compete with all the other major titles that are being released in the first quarter of the upcoming year. Now wait a minute…aren’t those first three months so packed because no one wanted to compete with eachother over the holiday season in the first place? Have we stumbled into a neverending void of game delays?

Not that serious IMO. Plenty of games to play.
I always figured Super SFIV was coming out around April because that’s when they’re releasing Final Fight Double Impact. It’s not like Capcom isn’t releasing anything in the first 3 months. Capcom is 3rd party company and that includes supporting Nintendo platforms. I know I’ll be getting Tatsunoko vs Capcom and the RE5 DLC.
I don’t really care about Monster Hunter.
SNS – You take that back! Everyone cares about MH Tri! Or is it just me ;_;
I’ve never been into Monster Hunter or the aspect of playing with other people in that type of game. I don’t even know if MH is a RPG or not, but I prefer my RPGs as single player experiences. I want to play the game when I want at my own pace. Especially since everyone is asleep when I usually game.
I just want Tatsunoko vs Capcom from Capcom and I will be happy. Monster Hunter is bleh to me. I have to agree with snskid here.
Man I forgot how to play Capcom vs Tatsunoko, haven’t play that game in awhile so lost my touch. U knew it was gonna happen by Capcom on the delays of games.
Monster Hunter on the ps3 adhoc is great, to be able to play with other MH player is fun.
I was playing Blazblue last night and I’ve definitely forgotten how to play.
I still know how to play Blazblue, to me it’s like playing Guilty Gear x2 accent core plus “Bang all he way”.
SSFIV delayed is good news. It’ll give people with SFIV a bit more time to come around to the idea of buying the upgraded version, but be warned, it might well end up being full price.
SFIV is cheap as chips in most gaming stores at the moment, but then there’s a lot of sales on!
