1luv and god bless
Bioshock was a huge hit when it debuted on the Xbox360 and part 2 is bigger and better but most of all it’s in a league of it’s own. The great gameplay of Bioshock has now moved into multi-player which really adds more to the game along side a brand new story that introduces the big sister amongst other surprises 2K games is working on.
There’s no other FPS on the market that’s like Bioshock 2 and once the games is released in a few months be prepared to blown away once again and the competition should really worry.

So now that Torrence and Spenny’s picks are out of the way let’s move on to mine. Be warned that I, much like Torrence, did not have a chance to play Demon’s Souls at the time of writing this. NBA 2K10 Review Addendum
In all my years of doing game reviews, I’ve never had to go back and change a score. Now with the advent of DLC and game patches, developers are allowed to release games with bugs. It’s not fair to us gamers that quality assurance has gone from great to deplorable over the years. If you think about it, a game cartridge with 2D sprites had better QA than a newly released PS3 or 360 game.
2K Sports and EA Sports have traditionally released their competing sports titles on the same day. I have no idea why they do this but with EA releasing one of the their best Live versions to date and 2K on their 10th anniversary, they must have felt the pressure. I really don’t think 2K Sports would have lost sales had they waited until most of the bugs were fixed before releasing the game. NBA 2K has a huge fan base and with this version of the game, there are rumblings that it’s their worst outing yet. So after waiting for the first patch to release and playing many games, Matt Jenkins had to lower his NBA 2K10 score. The full addendum to his review is after the jump.

HDMI 1.4 Revealed At CES

Just got word that they will be revealing HDMI 1.4 at CES. Here’s a full list of features that we will be getting with the new spec. I’m more interested in the Ethernet and 4K possibilities than anything. Does this mean that CAT5 will be a thing of the past in a few years? Is it worth it to upgrade your existing network from CAT5 to HDMI? Is 4xHD on it’s way already? It’s all very interesting isn’t it? Read the rest of this entry »
The Bitbag 2009 Editor’s Choice Award Nominee Picks: Torrence Davis

It’s that time of the year again! It’s time for Bitbaggers to vote on their GOOTIES! The Gootie award is given to developers and publishers for their outstanding work in the video game industry. This year, each editor will post their nominations for each category. After all the nominations are posted, we will tally the results and the top 4 games of each category will make the final nominee list. From that list we will vote on the winners and the nominee with the most votes wins the category. I have asked each editor to explain their nominations so you have a full understanding of how this process is done. Please understand that we all have real jobs and don’t work in an office together 40hrs a week with every game to our disposal. We all didn’t get to play everything. I would LOVE to give Assassin’s Creed 2 and Demon Souls a chance but because I haven’t played them, I’m leaving them out of my nominations list. Read the rest of this entry »
Xbox360 Fanboy Gets Owned While Defending Microsofts System Sales Just Isn’t Enough
Microsoft has come into this industry with one goal in mind and that’s to be not only number #1 but to be respected. Xbox showed that Microsoft had the potential but now with the Xbox360 Microsoft has become a powerhouse and also a thorn in Sony’s strategy.
Gamers all over the world love Xbox360 and PS3 but you also have a good share of what they call fanboys in which they only choose one console over the other. This debate goes to show that most fanboys aren’t fully aware on what makes their system of choice so great and you will see major evidence of this demonstrated in the video
