Yeh the online update is much better now, makes the game more enjoyable to play ranking matches. This update should make the fan’s of this fighting series more happy to play without any worries in the back of there mind (unless someone just quite), I as a great Tekken fan is happy about the new ranking matches update.

Oh and thanks for the shout out SnSkid, win or lose we be having some fun great matches I must say.

I replied to this comment already, but theBitbag wouldn’t even load so my comment was lost somewhere on the internets.

According to the official Tekken 6 forums Tekken 6 on 360 still has a few online problems. >.>

We definitely have some great matches. I have to play Arcade and Ghost Battle on Ultra Hard just to simulate real life competition.

Ever since I found out that you can only get SP Rage Items via roulettes I don’t hate them anymore. lol

I’m a HUGE Tekken fan, but Tekken 6 was a let down. They made so dumb decisions with this game.

The campaign is only mediocre, but it would have been better if it had local multiplayer or if you could play with any character (haven’t beat it so I don’t know if you can play with other characters or not).

Having to unlock the characters in the campaign so you can get to go through arena mode sucks (Arena is basically Arcade mode that let’s you see each characters story after beating it).

Having people drop out of matches sucks, but not because they lose their connection. No it’s sucks when you’re kicking their @$$ and they turn off their console so they don’t lose any matches without any penalties.

buying new outfits for your character is nice, but the screw this up by making you pay on average $300,000 per item (some over the $1 million mark) when you only make about $150,000 per campaign level and a fraction of that per fight. Oh and you have to purchase an item in every color instead of them offering a color wheel allowing you to change color whenever. Why they just didn’t use the same customization options that Soul Calibur uses is beyond me especially when both games are made by Namco.

The fighting thankfully is an improvement over the others although some characters have been tampered with (some for better some for worse). Anf the 60fps is a nice feel for all future fighting games. If you’re a Tekken fan already you’re going to get this game anyway. If you’re new to Tekken RENT IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT.

You can play scenario campaign with other characters. After you beat the first stage you can unlock your favorite character immediately. The whole point of SC is to get the full story of Tekken 6 and you get items for the characters without having to buy any of them. Once you get items that increase the value of money and item drop rate you won’t have to spend much time grinding. I’ve earned over 200 million in money and only used half of it.

You don’t even have to play the Arena stage to acquire the characters endings because they are time released.

I haven’t had people rage quit on me in Tekken 6.

The default outfit colors can be changed right away for free, but it does suck that you have to get the customizable items in every color separately.

Personally I think the changes to the character movelists was a good thing. There’s no point in having certain moves in the game that no one uses. Every character is beatable — you just have to know the ins and outs of Tekken 6 and that comes from playing the game.

I know some people who hate Tekken simply because of how important juggles are so I know Tekken isn’t for everyone.
