See, now THIS is what I expect from a sequel in a series. SMH Modern Warfare 2.

(If you hadn’t figured it out, I’m disappointed with MW2 because it’s basically the same damn thing)

Please elaborate in what you mean by the same thing.

I have been playing it since launch and with the single player I find it to be more intense than the previos games in addition I am enjoying the story. I also like that now I have more “Spec Ops” missions to play vs the only one you got after beating the previous one. So how is it the same thing when they added more than what you had in the previous. You have a campaign, multiplayer and now Spec Ops. So what is the same?

Ok fair enough, I’ll talk about it. But before I start, I’m just going to say that it’s just my opinion, I’m not preaching it as fact.

The single player campaign and Spec-Ops mode are great, I’m having a great time with them. But I got through the campaign in little over 4 hours, which was fairly annoying. But I could live with that, it was pretty awesome after all. And the Spec-Ops mode is great fun, I love it and have no problems with it. These are great parts of the game. However, there isn’t really a lot of content there. So to be honest, that could’ve easily been added into COD4 via DLC.

What I was really disappointed with in Modern Warfare 2 was the online multiplayer (which I’d consider the major aspect of the game, the rest is just icing on the cake). Don’t get me wrong, there’s no problems with it, it’s still the same great action that it was in COD4. But that’s the thing, it’s just the same as it was in COD4.

Sure you’ve got customisable kill-streaks, new guns and new maps. But that’s it, there’s barely anything that seperates it from it’s predecessor. AND they were working on this for 2 years? What I’m really trying to say (concerning the online multiplayer) is that when I put in COD4, played online for an hour yesterday, then I put in MW2, I couldn’t feel the £45 difference for the online.

I think I’m going to like this game more than Modern Warfare 2. Basically because this map looks better than anything I’ve seen in MW2, and the fact that the guns in this game have recoil and weight to them. COD4 didnt have the weight of guns like a Killzone 2, but in MW2 I feel like I’m running around with a toy gun that has no recoil and no weight to it. The way the guns felt in COD4 were much better for me.

Also, is it just me or is firing from the hip completely useless in MW2? It seems like there is barely no point in firing from the hip unless you sneak up on a enemy.

I like how BFBC2 also doesnt have a bajillion options with killstreaks and deathstreaks. Personally, I think simpler games are better and I think I enjoyed Battlefield 1943 MP more than MW2 so far.

Damn , you can drill a whole in any wall to have a little window to rape the enemy, or Camp. How will they ever find me ? I am getting this one
