On Monday November 10th Tonight, millions of gamers everywhere will head to their local retailers and gear up for war. Modern Warfare Monday is coming here and it is inevitable that many of us will lose ourselves for several weeks after deployment. Are you ready? Have you looked over your schedule and battle plans?
Modern Warfare has become the lifeblood of gamers all over the world. We now wait patiently for deployment into the battlefield. Grenades will be thrown, clips will be emptied and head shots will be accumulated. All weekend I’ve been thinking to myself, will I kill someone before I get killed? How long until I get my first Prestige? Will food be important during the first 24hrs of play? Am I crazy?
I’ve been telling my family and friends that I deploy tonight at 12am and won’t be back until Thursday morning. While some thought that I might really be headed off to war, others were keen on my subtext. Gamers all over the world spent extra time with their families this weekend because they knew what kind of week this was going to be. Girlfriends and wives will be kissed and then brought to tears as they watch their men walk off into the darkness of their gaming room. They can only hope that after they enter the drop zone they return home safely.
We are less than 3hrs away from the biggest video game event since Halo 3. Stand strong, stay focused and stake your claim. I salute all soldiers that are taking part in this war. By the time you finish reading this, I may have met you on the battlefield. Whether friend or foe, Playstation or Xbox, fanboy or truegamer, godspeed my brothers…godspeed.

Can I be the general? ****. General sixampfuze. Xbox and ps3
davis weekly?
Hopefully i can find a stable game easily now.
godspeed you black emperor
damn, cant decide which version to get. ps3 or trusty xbox live? hmmmmmmmmmmmm…..
PS3 version, you know damn well the 360 servers will be fucked with soo many people on there, PS3 will have alot to but not as much as 360 of course.
i dont even want to start on how much fail the pc version is iw can burn in hell for that crappy console port with no dedicated server support or mod support.
The game is ok there is something about it that is not sitting right. It’s the community.LOL. I’m just not sure what it is. Maybe I over hyped it for myself.
If Tor would give me my writer login I would go into more detail, but….
The multiplayer has been disappointing me so far. COD was never realistic or could be considered a “War Sim” but this is seems so cartoony to me. You get points for everything, the guns feel like toys, I think the maps are too big and not as good as COD4, the screen is covered with too much crap, but yeah my biggest gripe are the guns. They dont feeel the same.
Hopefully it grows on me but so far this has only made me more excited about BFBC2
Damn bro! I’m gonna go pick it up tomorrow but you killing me right now…. I was one of the few that wasn’t over hyped over this game in fear of it being disappointing. I’ll still buy it but if it doesn’t live up to the hype then it’s getting sold after a quick platinum…
Well now I played the game again today for a couple of hours. Maybe I could give you some more insight…
I personally think the single player is fantastic. One of the best FPS SP’s I’ve played and I’m not even finished. Just the storytelling, the ideas, etc is all great. Also, Soap is a complete badass IMO after playing most of the single player.
The multiplayer has grown on me. I still think that for it’s time COD4 was better, but this is still good. It just doesnt feel the same and I loved the feel in COD4 and WaW. Maybe if you didnt like the multiplayer in those you will like this one?
Overall I give it a B+ but remember I’ve only played 2/3 of the SP and about 5 hours of multiplayer. Eventually I could bump it up to an A.
I am slightly disappointed though only in the multiplayer. I think they tried too hard to change a good thing.
i’m trying to platinum this bitch ASAP, so i can sell it. it’s big doodoo stank on so many levels.
multiplayer on pc sucks
but ill give them a alright for single player. still a console port lol battle field bad company 2 here i come
speaking of which i need to watch that interview of that game still
they made this game too casual friendly. all you need to do is get the care packs and you will be first place every match. what this one is missing form the first game is that reward feeling after a kill. that thump sound, like you just shot a nigga. but if you enjoy the first one you will like this. especially if you didnt play resistance 2 or killzone 2 because those games make modern warfare 2 look dated in every way. i’m just glad my school paid the $60 and not me.
Games been really fun for me so far…. single player Veteran is done(was the easiest veteran mode of the series I think)… really fun story with some sweet holy shit moments…..and spec ops is a +
On the multiplayer side…. its taking a while to get used to it again…. and the size of the maps is throwing me off a bit… but overall it seems really fun… just need to get used to the game again… I do prefer the old style mw maps over these ones… just the layout design…..these big maps are catering to people hiding in corers and waiting for people to come… especially after running around looking for them for a minute.
you guys want to see how multi plays on pc lol
