Tekken 6 North American Championship
Get ready to battle as NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., teams up with GGL Global Gaming to exclusively host a national online tournament for TEKKEN 6®, the newest installment to the highly acclaimed fighting game franchise.
From now until November 29, players can sign up on GGL’s official tournament site to vie for a share of $10,000 in cash, exclusive collectibles, and of course bragging rights that accompany the competition. In addition, the top four online tournament fighters qualify for an all expenses paid trip to San Francisco where they will battle against the finalists from San Diego Comic-Con, PAX, and EVO in the North American “Best of the Best” Championship. Competitors will have a chance to win even more amazing prizes which include a TEKKEN 6 arcade unit, a life-size Kazuya and Jin statue, and an all expenses paid trip to represent the US in the TEKKEN 6 Global Tournament.

I once played this guy in T5DR named Kimbo Slice who used Bruce and he was so bad ass. This was before I even knew who Kimbo actually was.
Had the game since Thurs. Been playing this game non-stop with Kazuya.
Entered the tournament when it was up on TZ. Just waiting for them to unlock online on Tues.

I wanted to get this so bad because i have been a huge Tekken fan from 1 through 5 and tag team tournament , but im not impressed with this , i have jumped on the 360 is holding my ps3 back bandwagon ….

I’m sorry to say this but man playing Tekken 6 on the 360 d-pad suck ass, I can’t even sidestep quick like I always do or even pull out my moves right, I got a joystick but be to lazy to hook it up lol and wife be sleeping around the time I play it.
Do you know well the 360 pad works for SFIV or Kof12?
Man put it this way, WHAT THE FUCK WAS MS thinking when they design the d-pad for the 360. That shit is killing me when I play fighting games on there system and they lockout some good third party arcade joystick, if your not making one out of the ms controller or the one from madcatz then good luck trying to use it on your 360.

Im pumped for tekken 6. I stopped playing the series after 3 and am eager to return. Gamefly sent out my copy yesterday so hopefully ill get it thursday/friday. If i like it ill buy it off them and save 15 off their price + plus save another 5 with another coupon i have. Tekken 6 for 40 ftw

Man I was online lastnight with tekken 6 on the 360, let me just say I haven’t played any1 that know how’s to play tekken on xbox live yet. I was like wtf where are the good player’s at on live? can’t wait for my ps3 copy to get here and I’ll be on it.
There some pretty good Tekken players on PSN, but having to relearn the game, lag and connection issues really bring the skill level down. The best way to get some good matches is to host a lobby room and invite people with fast connections.
NamcoBandai needs to patch the game already. It’s so retarted that the scenario campaign mode doesn’t even have online co-op yet.
Man tell me about, every third match of a new fight that shit lag on me on the 360 I’m like wtf, then u know button mash is coming from the person u playing online. Shit just pissed me of man, thats why I hate playing tekken online and rather play with hood friends and yeh they do need a fucking patch for the scenario and re-fix the netcode for multi. I hope it isn’t share connection between the ps3 and 360 on there server, if thats the case then there’s where the lag coming from.
I think they need more filters and the option to decline playing someone with a shitty connection.
I was trying to beat Nancy (I will beat that machine) and then all of a sudden the character endings were being time released in the order that you unlock the characters in Scenario Campaign. Now I won’t have to beat the game with every character just to see their endings. What’s gay is it doesn’t unlock the prologues at the same time.
LOL same thing happen to me but I was online fighting and about 3 ending was unlock I was like wow no beat game get free ending? I can never beat Nancy also, I will one of these day lol. Yeh why didn’t they have the freaking kick shitty connection player on Tekken 6 when they had it in Tekken 5:DR? who in their right mind forgot about that function? Eh talk to Tor into playing me in tekken 6 on the 360 so I can own him hahah.
