Major Nelson is the biggest Xbox360 fanboy in the world but that comes with good reason, he’s their promotional tool. Although Xbox360 is a great machine and has made a big impact in this industry when your being outsold by the competition consistently now it’s hard to believe that Sony Playstation 3 is collecting dust.
Major Nelson and the entire Xbox team has given gamer so much to enjoy over the years but in truth regardless of their major stride and rise to become number one in this industry, SONY is the brand name that is still the main choice for gamers around the world and the proof is below in this Vidicle (Video Article).

It’s not really a big deal as he said on Major Nelson radio. Nelson, E, and Lauralolipop are all gamers and have all systems. When there’s a hot game like Uncharted 2, of course they are gonna play it.
On his podcast he has had DS developers (Scribblenauts) and even developers from Sony on his podcast because Nelson likes GAMES!
To take a quote out of his podcast he said there are just bloggers out there who had a slow news week and found stuff and N4G and rehashed it on their sites.

1. Major Nelson is like me, he’s played every major release on all consoles, Uncharted 2 is one of many I’m sure. I’m sure he’s seen the genericness I saw in Uncharted 2 from watching The HHGS this past Sunday. However, I’ll reserve full judgment on Uncharted 2 until I play it for myself (a little busy lately).
2. Game Quality: I equate game quality on having all bases covered: Single player, multi player, co-op, extras (Horde, Zombie, Firefight, others); where is Killzone 2’s features? That represents quality in my book, to gain the co-op experience in Killzone 2, you must go elsewhere.
3. Lag is due to YOUR NET SERVICE! I have Att Uverse, I never Lag & I have my sons 360, my 360 & my PC online at the same time in use by my family with ZERO LAG!
4. I dont care about B-ray movies. I’ll never pay $30 for something that outcome remains the same! $8 for a B-ray rental. You must have an HD tv to experience B-ray, currently, HDTV has a market penetration of around 20%. I have a SAMSUNG 50″ DLP, others may not be as fortunate.
5.Uncharted to as I preliminarily see, will have a very short life on the net. I dont see U2 having extended success online at all. Again, I should have time to play U2 next week, not fly through the game as some do, but enjoy the game as it is intended, taking my time playing.

play uncharted 2 BEFORE you judge the game…if you still think it’s “generic” than that’s cool…you’re just in the minority who believe such an outlandish statement. I’m calling it now…Uncharted 2 GOTY 09!!!

1. He is the spokesperson for Microsoft. What do you expect him to be saying? That he is plaing his PS3 more?
2. Considering that he probably gets Xbox Live for free, dozens of free Xbox games a month, and all the best stuff for the console he is going to have a pretty sweet Xbox set up. Uncharted 2, while a Top 5 game ever for me, is only one game so he probably played it and moved on.
3. Quality does not equal higher graphics. Just because a game looks better or has better physics does not make it better. I play COD4 over Killzone 2 because it is a better game. I played Shadow Complex and it is one of my favorite games of the year and it is a download title. The same goes for Flower on the PSN. You should say games look better on the PS3 rather than saying they have higher quality.
Left 4 Dead 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Alan Wake may not be better looking than PS3 games, but that does not mean they are worse off.

This “vidicle” seemed pointless, just another way for you to say how much better the PS3 is compared to the 360. To be honest it’s really getting old. So ok you really like the PS3, we get it……………………no really we get it!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. Calling Major Nelson an XBOX fanboy. Brilliant investigative journalism. I was shocked, that came out of left field, I never suspected him of being a big supporter of Microsoft.
