hells naw! no bitch is worth 9 circles.
    anyway, decent interview.
damn, if you don’t pay close attention…you could easily mistake it for something else.

The guy had a brilliant idea, sadly though the inspiration will be lost on most gamers as very few will have read or even know what Dante’s Inferno is and will have little to no interest in finding out prior to the game’s release. I for one am extremely interested in seeing how true they stay to the Divine Comedy which is a masterpiece of literature in itself and to be able to see it brought to life on a next gen console is something to look forward to.

No doubt closer to release the general focus will be on comparing this to a vaguely similar PS3 behemoth franchise even though they have completely different inspirations and settings.

Also it will be very interesting to see how this game is rated and treated outside of the US (especially in countries such as Germany, Australia et al.) because as Mr Knight eluded to in the interview the nudity etc is a direct derivative of the art and paintings of the time and not something introduced just to spice up the game.
The question is when will the ratings boards (and the general populous) start to view video games as a legitimate form of art. Because of the subject matter this game may give us some indication if any change of viewpoint is occurring within the ratings system and in the wider social context.

@Torrence: One constructive comment I would make about the interview is that HHG posted an interview with the same guy earlier in the week and the interviews were quite similar. Due to the fact that you guys are in the same “network” maybe it is time for more collaboration/coordination on these sort of matters to avoid duplication?

Otherwise I enjoyed the show. Thanks.

great interview tor! appreciate you going out to these events for us.

good interview tor, BTW what does high def gaming mean to you???

high definition gaming to me is primarily more pixels being pushed in terms of effects and number, affording a higher level of visual realisation and thus perception(afterall it’s called VIDEOgaming). this of course is greatly aided by great sound design and fidelity, intuitive gameplay mechanics, and sometimes controller interfaces(e.g games like flower, mario galaxy etc).
