Are you really going to stop playing after 2-3 weeks? Damn. Why even get the game? I have been playing T5 and T5DR since 2005. I know I’m going to keep T6 in heavy rotation until there is a tekken 7 or Tekken Tag 2. The campaign mode just looks like Tekken Force with 2 people. The giant robot is a playable character who’s also a bonus stage in the regular mode. I think people will play the campaign mode because it’s an easy way to get items to customize your characters.

Personally I could never take Dead or Alive seriously. I have seen some tournament play that was impressive, but IMO the Dead or Alive franchise will always be a button masher.
Virtual Fighter is just too techinical for most and moves weird. Learning the game is a waste of time since only people on Japan really play it.
Tekken seems to be like the perfect balance.

Soul Calibur’s last hurrah was with SC2 on gamecube. Link ftw.

Damn you hit it right on the money. He might play the game after that initial 2-3 weeks but just sparingly. I love VF i love how deep the fighting is and has been in that series. Also i thought SC2 on gamecube was their last good one as well. That was to me the best fighting game on gamecube and their weird ass C stick actually had a useful purpose.
