Uncharted 2 is the talk of the industry right now and with good reason, it’s a monster of a game exclusively for the Playstation 3. So many people are awaiting the arrival of Uncharted 2 and after tons of articles, video footage, fanboy talk and more, it seems that Uncharted 2 is in a league of it’s own and in some cases it is. Uncharted 2 is another killer app under Sony’s belt and when it comes down to competition this is definitley the game to beat but, there is a game out there that attempts to match the quality of this spectacular title and that’s Splinter Cell: Conviction on the Xbox360.
Splinter Cell not only stunned audiences around the world but Sam Fisher is a completely different person with a new mission and major upgrades. Graphics, Gameplay, Story , and more will have gamers in shock once they get their hands on the controls of Splinter Cell. So far for the Xbox360 this is the title that gamers have been waiting for in terms of the next best big leap for the system and once this quality is released next year gamers will honor the use of the DVD drive on this Xbox360 title.

Now in terms of this article you guys always miss the FUCKIN POINT learn to listen and understand this year xbox360 hasn’t had a title exclusivley besides forza really that showed a level of quality on that gears 2 type of level you know what I mean and splinter cell is a game that’s going to do that and since uncharted 2 is the talk of the town right now it was interesting to see if splinter cell can be that major next generation step up for 360 similiar to how uncharted 2 is for the ps3. This article once A FUCKIN GAIN is not meant to be a direct comparison in terms of this is better than that and that is better than this ok so pay the fuck attention.

Each exclusive that has came out this year alone for the 360 has been polished and fun. But fun is the last thing to talk about. The 360 doesn’t NEED to show whatever level you think it needs to achieve to keep going. Ubisoft is not concerned about Naughty Dog especially when neither product is being released at the same time. Bad enough you have yet to play the final version of either game. HHG, when you described the differences of “realism” between SC and U2, they’re practically the same. Sure, U2 has more variety of colors going into both dark and light, but both have that “realistic” look to it. Nothing “cartoony” ;D
Also, please be a bit more descriptive on the differences and stop repeating vague facts. If you have to, put in some time for U2 on what the pros and cons are and then compare it to SC, or vise versa.

I think everyone who either just doesn’t like HHG or heavily favors the 360 stopped when he mentioned the “cartoony” look of Splinter Cell. HHG basically concluded that Splinter Cell is a match for Uncharted in almost every way. Although I do not entirely agree with his conclusions (I think SC’s and UC2’s stealth dynamic should have been explored and compared… in which I think SC dominates in that aspect), I do not believe he meant Splinter Cell Conviction looked like a cartoon. It sounds like he was saying it was just an art style choice that made Splinter Cell’s look resemble something closer to cel-shading than, let’s say, an oil painting or photorealism. I think (like HHG) both games will be AAA console sellers.

I don’t think that HHG ever said Splinter Cell looked cartoony, I don’t know maybe i’m wrong so please tell me where he said such a thing. I personally don’t have a problem with the article just the title. I think that the title of the article is baiting members of this site to get fired up even though it may not be intentional. The problem with your last statement is that it doesn’t happen just once in a while, it happens often. (Again, i’m only speaking about the title not the article.)
Dang, I hooked the wrong fish… Well, If you notice around 1:03, HHG said the animation of UC2 and not SC:C looked “cartoony” as being more animated, I was trying to get a person or two who didn’t listen to the article to actually listen to the article because he actually compliments SC:C; and after that prove me wrong… but at least they would be coming from a informed point of reference instead of mere conjecture.
It figures I’d get a person who actually listened before commenting. Ah, well. At least you gave the article a chance, even if you don’t agree with his conclusions.
