I hope you didnt change The Warzone to IGN podcasts? due to the baby talk over the last 2 weeks, The Warzone stopped me from listening to a bunch of crap like IGN, & others. I hope this is like the other 59 Warzone podcasts I’ve listened to.

Doesn’t matter if this is the model that HHG has for his monitor but still the same.
This should have been HHG’s first source to go to and see his own specs.
If he is enjoying his display I am happy for him and have never had a problem with anyone having a EDTV. It is clear he does not understand televisions and doesn’t want to actually learn anything about them. The funny revelation of all this is that he has never gamed in HD except when he goes to a convention and tries out the demos. So why would he complain about Wii’s graphics when every game he plays on the 360/PS3 are locked to 852 x 480p.
In his defense, he now games on a Sony 1080p tv.
That is great then but it boggles my mind he has a 1080p tv and spent this much time about a EDTV lol.
the wii outputs at 480×640, not 480×852, nice try. hence why downscaled 720p to 16/9 480×852 looks better; 33% more resolution. not to mention all the next gen shaders and what not. thats also why hip hop thought 720 looks better than 480×640 on a 480×852 native panel. not to mention the benefits of supersampling – rendering at a higher res than the output res has its benefits, almost like AA.
The display resolution is what I was talking about so if the Wii was hooked up to the display I linked in my post then I am correct. No one was talking about the signal but the NATIVE resolution of the actual display.
Also, what is going on with the intense debate program it doesn’t come up in either explorer or firefox?
Regretfully, I had to kill Intense Debate because it was the source for all the slowness on the site.

I’ll be honest the show put me to sleep during the first hour but as I’m listening now the show is flowing better and it’s nice to see that you took some of our advice about the netcast.

ok the netcast is over and the show was a major improvement over past weeks. the flow was great ,segments were moving, and the show went so smoothly that it felt like it ended prematurely .
only negative was that the first 45 min made me fall asleep

This two hour shit needs to stop ASAP lol. i mean shit just when i got comfy it was over. i listened live and yes it was much easier to listen to live but When i listen to the download i love the 3 1/2 4 hour shows. I was just about to post about that. I just watched the HD trailer on Live 100mb download. At the end of trailer they were fighting in Washington right in front of the White House.
I really liked the show. It was a little shorter but much more laser focused. I did skip a couple of shows here and there in the past because I thought they ran too long and were kinda chaotic (too many persons jumping in, talking over each other).
That might have been the price to pay when you allow live listeners to jump in but with Warzone 61, I think you guys hit the sweet spot.
I’ll be listening for sure in the coming weeks to see how the podcast continues to evolve.

It was good show i agree with everyone that it flows more now but is that a positive or a negative? i dont mean to sound too critical of the new system but those long 3-4 hour shows are wayy more entertaining its what separates the bitbag from all the other sites and thats what the warzone is all about i mean if a discussion happens to go on for a long time and ppl are jumping in trying to get a point in then so be it, its the WARZONE god damn it lol i mean come on what other site does a 3-4 hour live podcast in which everyone can join in? i’ll tell ya, NONE. That is why we love the bitbag. However with that being said i respect the fact that torrence needs his rest as he is a busy guy and has many other things to think about with the site other than just the podcast. maybe the new system jus needs some time to settle in with everyone i dont know. i just hope it doesnt take that unique feeling away that the podcast has had since its birth. still a good show tho keep up the good work. peace.
The warzone should now be called the peace zone. This new format is not entertaining at all. Nobody argued the whole time until hiphop spoke but that’s normal. All I heard was people agreeing with each other. When will spenny and brain go at it or torrence and fat? I tired of thebitbag vs. hiphop warzone.
Like the new format…things definitely flowed nicely…no real complaints this go round, except for the fanboy rant (you shouldn’t engage in the forum wars…you’ll get flamed!!) and the repeated forza3/gt5 comparisons (don’t really care for the racing games).
But honestly, I was impressed…just upset I didn’t make it through the entire live show…I was sick as a dog and passed out like 45 minutes into the show…
Can’t wait to see what’s in store for this week’s show…hopefully some different games are covered…
Arguments are fine but hearing 34 people screaming at each other sucks. its just all noise. if 2 people want to go at each other then thats cool but the show moved from 1 segment and topic much better. .
