Nintendo Wii has had incredible success with their motion controller gimmick but now new challenges are here and Nintendo is in for a fight. Microsofts Project Natal and Sonys Magic Wand are ready to expand the motion control market and also take some market share away from Nintendo but, Sony seems to be in the best position to do this and here’s why.
Sony has already showed that they can outsell even the Nintendo Wii being $100 dollars higher in price and next year with the addition of the Magic Wand Sony has now become more than just mere competition but a threat to Nintendo Dominance.
Sonys Magic Wand has better precision than the wiimote, the combination of the PSEYE cam which will open up new motion gameplay opportunities, but most of all It’s all in HD.

not a bad article at all. sony's motion controller surely does have a lot of potential, and much more so than MS's and nin's offerings, especially since being an advanced combination of both.
on thing though that i often see people say that tickles me the wrong way, is the notion that for a game to be hardcore it must have a mature rating. take a game like tetris, or columns, these can be pretty damn hardcore, it just depends on the player.
anyways, keep up the good work hiphop. one luv and God bless, peace.

I completly agree…..Nintendo and Sony are both Japanese comapnies, therefore Nintendo will only see Sony as direct competition. Until now Nintendo has not seen Sony as competition, but now with the Slim Nintendo knows they need to step their game up. Especially since those DS/WII numbers are down compared to last year
people need to realize its the weird little quirky things like wii fit that make the wii so popular….
I also do not remember the ps3 totally outselling the wii when it was $100 more expensive….maybe a hanful of times in 3 years near 54 million wii's say hello.
