As a former subscriber of Planetside, I thought the glory days of Planetside were gone. Â I often talk about this game reliving moments in the game from the old days of planetside frag love. Well… today I received a survey hinting… at a Planetside 2. So I’m sure Tor, thesocialgamer, and I will all be playing Planetside 2 before you know it.
Expanding the planetside universe huh. I loved the original so i hope they really execute this on the money.
I have fond memories of Planetside but the game never kept me into it as much as the traditional MMOs at the time. Though I loved it for it's FPS action and the persistent battle for regions. The game that's i feel does what Planetside did well and does what it did bad is done better in the new game HUXLEY. I have been in the Huxley BETA for a few months now and nothing comes close to the quality or MMO side of this crazy FPS/MMO stile of game. The beginning intro cinematic really gives you a feel of what I'm talking about. Great to hear about huxley shit has been so quiet about it. They just keep sayin Q4 09 release with the 360 version 6 months later. Whenever the hell that is.
Besides being an MMO how would you say Huxley and Borderlands differenciate? Style wise (not artistic) and battle system wise? Of course assuming you were able to get your hands on borderlands.
