Geoff Keighley’s twitter has been letting us all in on some juicy MW2 bomb dropping. Infinity Ward have just confirmed via a press conference that there will be a limited edition Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 console (pictured above) to be released with a 250GB HD, 2 wireless controllers, and, of course, a copy of Modern Warfare 2 for $399. This limited edition is available for pre-order today throughout the US, with pre-orders being available in other regions later on. A few multiplayer details are also being revealed. What we have so far is that 4 kills nets you a care package (an ammo and health drop via heli), 5 kills and you receive the option to use a predator missile, 7 kills enables the attack helicopter, etc. Also new to the series is ‘Tactical Inserstion Equipment’ which allows you to place a mark where you will respawn. Word has also been given on some new perks including Scavenger (think looting but in an online FPS), Hardline (1 less kill is required for killstreak rewards), and Copycat (the ability to steal a class).

I don't do this very often but based on your blasphemy and pure idiocracy of gaming, I have chosen to acknowledge your absurdities with a response.
1. You say that you would rather pay nothing for a fix than $150 for a fix. How about you not have to get it fix in the first place? You seem to gloat at the fact that you have done nothing with your 360 but send it back to Microsoft to get fixed on numerous occasions. Yes, it may be free but that is nothing to be proud about. I would never gloat about my Nissan Altima if it broke down once a month and I had to send it back for 10 days to get fixed. That means I don't have a car for 10 days. Once is an inconvenience, twice is annoying, and three times is unforgivable. You say your 360 has broken 4 times. You must be full of forgiveness. But anyway, that must just be me.
2. Your entire argument has been about how the PS3 sucks so much because SOny charges you to get it fixed after warranty. But do you realized that Microsoft had a class action law suit filed against them because so many systems were defective? It was nothing short of a legal action that has allowed most 360's to be fixed for free. And when you have a 54% failure rate, it's the least you could do. I bought a launch PS3 and 2 months ago it crashed on me. But it wasn't because the system was faulty, it was because the room I played it in was hot as hell. It was basically my fault. A 360 can break simply by a person walking across the floor in front of it. That's ridiculous and irresponsible on Microsoft's part and they should be ashamed of themselves to continue to produce a machine that can't make it through the new year.
3. You claim that you would buy a PS3 if it was $150. Just based on your fanboy fervor everyone on this site knows that is a blatant lie. There is nothing Sony could do to make a person like you buy a PS3. I checked your lineage and it is full of gaming fail. You failed then and you fail now. You are short sited and blunt headed. You are beyond stubborn and you refuse to acknowledge when a game is actually very good just because it is not on your precious faulty system. I will admit outright that I favor the PS3 however I still bought a 360 just so I could play Gear of War because I have the capacity to look beyond the fanboy goggles and realize a great game when I see one. You only relish in the debates and arguments that put down the PS3 just because. You are not a real gamer. You are a poser. 1) Learn comprehension; I said I have 2 360! Since 2005, my son has 2 repairs & I have 2 repairs, for the mathematically challenged, that's 4 total repairs over a 4 year period. Never, not one time did I ever say, I was proud of that, however, I did say, if I had to pay for ONE repair, I would never own another 360. See, reading is fundamental!
Your analogies are horrendous: you compared something we can live without (video game), to something that is a necessity if you have a family & a home (automobile), do you understand that? On is a need, the other is 100% recreational! Do better next time.

Just like I said a cod bundle wouldn't help the ps3 I feel the same way. Now a 250gig hdd is very nice . But a second controller is a waste. If I was msni would have included te console , cod, 1 controller , HD cables and 12 live .

I havent seen a price for the uncharted bundle yet. Charing 400 in europe and 574 in south africa is price gouging. MS continues to shove out their old technology at still a premium price. The overall value between ps3 vs 360 is heavily favored toward sony. How clear do those dvds look mboo.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one: this is a custom one of a kind 360; a second controller is needed for company, I'm tired of my sons friends using my Elite controller. Now if they don't include those cables, that would be a little disappointing. I may get it because I need a 3rd 360 for my daughter, but I would much rather have a ODST 360.

I would pay more for a regular 360 than a PS3! The PS3 is $150 overpriced for me because I'll be damned if I give someone $30 for a ******* movie that the outcome stays the same. The RROD feature happening to 360's are a 10 day inconvenience that you don't pay for. I've had a total of 4 360's sent to M$ for FREE repairs! Now, the PS3, if you're 1 day over your 1 year warranty, SONY asks you for $150.00 or fix your own ****!

Also the multiplayer details sound very interesting… seems like the whole gameplay element of CoD may start to change with the ability to pick spawns etc… will be interesting to see how it goes.
that is very true know maybe you can have actually strategies for team death matches and other matchs like that. this'll add a hole new feel to the matches. Cant wait to see how they innovate the other types of multiplayer game play.

2) I never said the PS3 sucked, ever. M$ had a class action suit filed against them, SONY lost one. M$ realized their problem when excessive consoles were sent back to them, they compensated consumers for their troubles by reimbursing everyone that paid to have their console repaired. Something SONY didnt do with the PS2.
3) To me a PS3 is worth $150, it seems as if its worth $150 to the PS3 fans as well because the big games don't sell like they should. The biggest game on the console is MGS 4 & like I said, I don't watch movies that much! I don't need a b-ray player because I'm not buying a movie for $30 & the outcome stays the same.
You can call me what you want, however, all of my predictions have come true. I'll give you another one: The PS3 will lose the month of September (NPD only). I say NPD because they don't count pack-ins.

Why do you keep talking about how you don't like to watch movies? I guess the 360 should drop its price 100 bucks since it can play DVDs? Your argument makes no sense. The bottomline is, you have never liked the Playstaion brand. Clearly you are the type of person that hated the PSone, hated the PS2 and hates on the PS3. You seem like the type to get all googly eyed when Microsoft announces a new sku, not realizing that you have been persistently gouged by the various add-ons, extensions etc that you basically HAVE to buy in order to have a the complete 360 experience.
And all you want to talk about are sales. Do you have stock in the Xbox or something? What do its sales have to do with its games? Isn't that the reason to buy a system; to play its games? That's what a real gamer does. A real gamer doesn't make up ridiculous reasons why he doesn't have a particular console. Hell a real man would simply say straight up, "hey, I don't like that system, never liked the brand, never will. I hope it fails in every possible way". Just show tell us like it is. Hello, my name is Manberg900. I love the Playstation brand and I love my PS3. I don't really like the Xbox that much for various reasons however I think the 360 has some great titles, some of which I purchased for my own 360 like Bioshock and Gears a War to name a couple. But I don't really play the 360 much at all since most of the titles I follow are actually only on the PS3 like God of War, and Metal Gear solid. I pretty much solidified my gaming taste with the PS2 so naturally I lean toward most PS3 titles. Anyway, I love gaming and I love competition. So I love that the two major brands are duking it out because the result has been a slew of great games to play.
