I am just going to say it. Weapon X had no fucking clue what he was talking about when it came to Forza 3. I don't need to hear bullshit about secrets and what he knows etc. THE INFORMATION AND VIDEOS HAVE BEEN OUT THERE. A demo is coming out on the 24th. The game has been in production for only 2 years give or take. 400 cars with detail cockpits and damage. Only 170 out of the 1000 cars have internal AND damage for its game is what info we go so far. Weapon X if you knew as much as you say you do when it came to Forza you would have known the features and details. Just admit you really didn't have a clue what Tor was telling you that you say "knew from being inside the industry"
Whats up mboojigga. I respect your comment. Yes I am an industry insider but you have got to understand that Im just giving my opinion on what I have seen and what I know. The video on Forza is one that I had already seen but at the time of the show on friday I thought that Tor was talking about a new video. Yes Forza is a more personal game. You and other fans of the series like you will enjoy it. Trust me!!!!! But I'm looking at the game from a different prospective. We have seen alot of games do alot of customizing and stuff but the question I always ask is that how long is it going to last before it gets old. I have seen the build that Tor was talking about. The question that I ask myself when I saw it is is there going to be anymore inovation in the final version of the game? What else can they do to push the envelope further? In the end is it really all about being personable with the ride itself. For years the GT series has done this with no sweat. You may be say this is BS and thats cool. You have a right to do that. All I can say is this. When you see GT, When you see GT, the difference will be clear as the noon day sun. I will always stand by my word in saying that Forza will always live in the shadow of Gran Turismo. God Bless and Keep Gaming man.
Once again, the difference in cars for Forza vs GT is just the count. I can take a Integra and customize from body, tuning and engine parts which by the way they added 60% more tuning options vs using 20 different Intergras in GT. The only thing people brag about mostly is simply the graphics for GT. Then you have people who provide excuses as to why the series hasn't had damage in it. Yet Turn 10 has gone through the same process with their games with all cars having damage.
Count is the most important thing IMO. Having 2.5 times as many cars as Forza really gives people an option to choose from a shit load of cars. Please don't tell me that alot of the cars will be garbage ones or even repeated cars. To say their are 20 Integras in GT is pure ignorance. In prologue their was only 1 Integra. If you want to beat the game 100% on gt4 you needed to use majority of the cars because there are many vehicle specific races. Gt is heavy rich when it comes to tuning. Sure it doesnt have the little kiddy painting gimmick, instead it offer more indepth tuning on engine, suspension,etc. The game also includes a crystal clear 7.1 LPCM audio track for those with the gear to enjoy it, does forza have that? Look forza's a great game but GT5 is still ahead of it due to the physics, a new selectable professional mode, and adjustable difficulty modes. The one major downfall to gt prologue was that the online was bare bones. Im hoping that they have redesigned the whole interface and give you the option to play against your friends.
Can we stop this damn Forza 3 vs Gran Turismo debate, until both the games come out? Im getting tired of you constantly trying to defend Forza.
For a game in which details are still scarcely know as far as full features, damage and options you seem to have your mind made up on what the differences between the games will be… Also how certain can you or anyone not having played GT5 say the only difference between the cars between the games are the count. GT has always offered great tuning options. I also agree with Commanders point about waiting until both are out to get the debate going. We hear enough of the god of war hype machine from HHG, we don't need this machine getting oiled as often do we?

yes, GT5, PS3 supports the logitech G25 and logitech driving force pro steering wheel, plus GT5 will have headtracking cockpit view (would make sense with a big ass tv)
Why would I care to want to look down at my shifting knob for head tracking. It seems like it will do more harm than good.
this only matters if u enjoy cockpit view, and have a BiiiiiiG TV, because then u can look left or right at your competition while still looking at your TV not away and instead of hitting the left button or right button to see, besides, i'm stressing the fact that u have the ability to use logitech steering wheels that provide the best home racing experience

yeah thats exactly it, forza 3 might be great and all, but what wheel do they use? the recalled catch on fire microsoft wheel??? the logitech wheels aren't supported by MS/XBOX
I couldn't care less if PS3 gets cross game chat. My family and friends are all on Live and have been for the last 6 years. We and dual owners who have been enjoying Live are not going to all of a sudden switch over because of this feature.

Oh I agree it will be. I am just talking from the perspective that HHG and others think espcially with his article he did last week with claims that PSN is only one update away from topping Live. We have been hearing this since 2005. We saw cross game chat before the PS3 was released. It is now going to be 3 years in November that it has yet to arrive.
Truthfully I've lasted almost 3 years on my ps3 without having cross game chat. Its a nice feature, but I think its highly overrated. The only reason I still have a subscription to XBL it is because of friends and family. PSN is still a little bit behind live, but I think Sony is going to need the rest of this generation to learn better ways to involve their community. Home is nice, but I dont ever see it blowing up. It took Xbox awhile for them to get were they are at now and it required alot of money. I think that with the launch of the PS4 their is a high possibility that we will have to pay to play. People make such a big deal out of having to pay for live, but if you think about it, its only a couple dollars every month. Lives still offers many things like Netflix, exclusive content such as demos and DLC, but I don't think that justifies the monthly fee, especially when PSN is free. Based on what I have seen with Live your basically paying to get things earlier than PS3 owners.

the fact is with the battle of forza 3 over gt5 is this. gt5 is a racing game for racers not people that want to play another game besides halo or cod.
now if you play forza 3 you can only use the crap MS wheel that isnt a pro racing wheel its a cheap madcatz wheel.
as with gt5 you can spend 100 bucks and get a G25 or spend more and get the G27. or you can play with the big boys and step up to frex and get a full simracing pod.
now i know most of the bitbag people do not own a wheel or well use one to play the game. witch means if you not using a wheel your not going to fully get to enjoy the game for how its made to be played. no controller is going to be good for driving.

Yes GT is considered the uber of racing games but that doesnt make it the best.Gt has hat 6 games to improve on while forza is working on 3 with 2 this gen so forza has made the name for itself and to be honest I think the older Collin Mcrea games

Hmm so I am assuming selling over 20million (in less than 3 years and being the 2nd most expensive console) is a fuck up. Very questionable sentence their Six Amp. Did you feel the same way with the launch of the ps2 slim? Lowering the price and redesigning the console does not label the first as being a "fuck up" as you stated. Care to explain how the 360 elite dropping down to 299 has been irrelevant?

Really? I thought brayn lost that argument… He was arguing a completely different point. The argument wasn't really about the button configuration in killzone 2 which can be altered to your liking. It was mainly about the weight/momentum based movement of your character. Braynbasher bringing up FNR4 button options completely changed the argument. You go from defending movement to defending button configuration. Arguing against movement is to me just bitchy, it's like arguing the way a character runs and jumps in platformers like ratchet and clank, sly cooper or Mario. They all move and jump differently and we as gamers adjust to each. I must agree with hiphopgamer on the point that in the way EA handled FNR4 was wrong and honestly stupid. For the entire series fighting has been a certain way and they completely tore that up in FNR4. It forced gamers to adjust to a different scheme which is fine but honestly it wasn't for the better. Mistakes throwing punches and uppercuts often happen leaving you open at the most inopportune times. Completely different arguments and brayn completely didn't understand that…

what I meant by the ps3.5 ( Fuckup) statment wasn't that I thought the ps3 was a fuck up in anyway , thefat system sells extremely well and the only reason people think the ps3 is losing is because the ps3 has less sales in total but the ps3 sells great. By " whoops fuckup thing " was me saying Sony thinks they fucked up the design. It's been less than 3 years in the ps3 lifetime and they already changed the console. It just seems strange to methat they did that. It seems like a rereleasing of the console as a second chance. If they didn't spend the money to redesign the system is it possible the fat ps3 could have been cheaper? I just don't think redesign

The controls killed it for me.HHG brought up the weight system and they made it that way to make it realistic but HHg cried about not being able to button mash in fight night 4 WTF . Ea said use the stick and hhg cried about using buttons , in fight night r3 you had a choice to use sticks or buttons well the developers at ea said. The sticks make the game better. So use them . Everyshooter has some tactical sense to it but killzone can't compete with ghost recon , rainbow six in that manner. Cod has some elements with the hardcare settings and the many combinations of weapons and assessories.

The psp and the ds are not that much fun. I have both and there's shit for both systems. I have more fun with my itouch games and I talk more about the itouch games than I do with the other portables. Plus my itouch games have wifi so the iPhone/itouch gaming is better than the psp IMHO. I'm not super happy with touch control but so far the work pretty good .

I think the pspgo was A mistake. Either have a psp or a pspgo. Sony was stupid in making the go compete with the psp . The pspgo design which is just a mylo is great but the d should be there. If the umd was in the psp go then that would be a big deal.

First off the most overratted game to grace stores this year has to be Prototype… The game was just weak i'm sorry.
Second this is the problem it's okay when your opinion is that a game is overrated or to state your dislike for a game BUT when there's a concerted effort to make a certain point well heard and known it's another. Which the latter case seems to have appeared.
I thought this podcast was mediocre. However, my standards on what a good podcast may be different than yours. We are the ones entertaining and you are being entertained. I think when I'm being entertained during the show that it's a good one.

i liked the podcast but i could tell by your voice,enthusiasm and mannerism you where not enjoying the podcast. Why was it when ppl started talking about the ps3 and killzone HHG got all defensive and shit like ppl where talking about his mom and his family? trying to prove ppl's OPINION WRONG about the controls,story, and gameplay. personally i loved the game, put in over 200hrs online but that's ME, not everybody is gonna like the game and thats ok. Killzone was not a "flop" it sold over 1.5 million but that's a severe DISAPPOINTMENT when its a game that was hyped since May 2005 and touted as the end all be all of all FPS. The game SHOULD have sold 5-8 million but no marketing and bad word of mouth killed it. Tor ive been trying to download all the Warzone podcast and save them on my ps3 but 39-1 wont download from the site or itunes. when i try to download it goes to a white screen and says "error 404" can you help a brother out?
For those who have played killzone 2 they know it is the end all be all fps. Its a shame people shyed away from the game because of what they have heard.
I agree it is great great game, best FPS i ever played (Kz 2,Cod 4 & up, Halo,) in my opinion it makes COD'S gameplay look like child's play but that's my OPINION. i thought it was wrong for HHG to try and shove HIS OPINION down everybody's throat about KZ like there OPINION WAS WRONG and his was RIGHT. some ppl like it, some ppl love it and some just plan hate it. its all opinion.

For the last time, there are 3 standard resolutions. EDTV, SDTV, and HDTV. EDTV is 480p/i and 576p/i. Anything above that is considered HD. The is no sub-HD. As long as the game looks good, who cares. I'm so tired of that debate lol.
