Thanks for the heads up. I use iTunes a lot as I buy most of my music through their store front. I basically am forced to seeing as I have an iPhone, personally I prefer the Zune software. Moving on, there has to be some sort of legal action that could done for what basically amounts to destroying someones property.

I've been using Amazon MP3 for a while now. I really like it. I've never been into the whole iTunes thing. The truth is with iTunes you don't own any of the music you purchase; they are just leasing it to you.

One reason I dont buy from itunes is because I only buy tracks that are at 320kbps. If I cant find a 320 to download then I use limewire. If they cant offer me that quality then they lose my sale.

That's just it Mboojigga, the tracks were deleted. Look at the two pics I posted. iTunes store no longer has the tracks available. It's now a partial album. Did you read the article? :P

Tor,

You do know all you have to do is go in your history and actually request to redownload your songs and problem solved. Backup or not you can get the songs back without purchashing them.

Account Information
Purchase History
Report a problem
request to redownload songs you lost(doesn't matter the reason)
Up to 24 hours later your songs will start to download when you open Itunes up.

I don't care if you go to Amazon or not. Just giving you your options that are available. I have never had a problem like you are describing.

"I knew they were there before and too make sure I wasn’t crazy, I logged into the iTunes store and guess what I saw? The completed album had been changed to a partial album. I checked to see what tracks were missing and low and behold, tracks 12 and 15 were gone"

Is this what actually happened or is this theory you are throwing up in the air? Regardless if Apple is at fault or not you can retrieve them either way without being charged for it.

I have a itouch and a zune 30gig and the zune as a mp3 player is much better than the itouch and the zune marketplace is much better than itunes. only flaw with zune marketplace is a bug with some song tags but that can be fixed manually. $15 bucks a month pass is uber
