Why did you change the show description for last week’s Warzone? HHG got smashed by Anthony. If it was to save him from embarrassment then you might as well edit out that entire PC gaming discussion because that’s much worse than the show description.

Uncharted 2 can be done on X360 but I think it would not look as good as Ps3 version , I have yet to see a game that look like Uncharted 2,the mountains and the buildings are just in front of your eyes and that takes a lot of power ,
Splinter cell conviction does look phenomenal but still it doesn’t look as good as Uncharted 2 or KZ2
The problem with X360 is the developers not pushing to the limit, it is held by outdated engine such as UE3 but I think this is going to change by the release of Splinter cell conviction and AlanWak
Ps3 has one thing going for it and that is talented Developers who want to go over the edge

In case you forgot: Weapon said GT get their car models from the car company & he doesn’t know where Forza gets their car models from, that’s why they can have car damage because its not authentic. The reason why Gran Turismo has always had a problem with getting damage licenses from different car manufacturers was because they wanted to implement a system that would allow cars to show off their true damage points. From what I have played on Forza 2 on my brothers 360 their damage system seems to be universal for every car.

What is that link about, so what about that car, can you crash it? That’s the question, we want GT 5 to move up to the next level after 5 iterations!
Don’t believe their BS, this is a simulator, simulate crash points. If that car that’s specifically made for GT 5 doesn’t want to be damaged, then don’t, but the other 999 cars should have damage! As it stands, there is only 160 or so cars that will be damaged, I’m not sure, but we’ll see when its released.
Back to the “hiding” Weapon X comments: if GT 5 is ever released, we can look at the Corvettes on each console & compare then to a real Vette, ok.
I know one thing, after seeing the Forza 3 videos, GT 5 isn’t making a surprise release this year, it will get smashed, it cant be ready for Forza 3. you really need to get that fixed HHG….as for your point, just because more people didn’t buy cod4 on the pc doesn’t mean allot of people don’t currently own it on pc (if you know what i mean….) and if you really want to talk about sales go find out how much money Wow is making year after year and then come back to me and tell me where that stacks up against cod4. graphics does not equal good gameplay or for that matter, games that sell millions. and like otherzinc said, if there’s a multiplat game that is not only coming out for the consoles but as well at the pc, expect the pc version to destroy the console versions of the game……graphically, gameplay though, could be something completely different.
also in your point you just stated why pc gaming will continue to survive…..as long as pc’s are fully customizable, the gaming on the platform will continue to be there regardless of graphic quality……if consoles were capable of doing that, then you’d be onto something….

HipHop, I saw Splinter Cell on an Alienware PC at BestBuy about 4 or 5 years ago or so, and what I saw back then would absolutely DESTROY “Anything” on “Any” consoles today. You need a friend at BestBuy or a high-tech friend, to show you the true power of a PC. And, this is coming from “me”, someone that cant stand mouse & keyboard & PC gaming! I’d much rather game downstairs on my big@ss HDTV sitting on my giant Luvsac bag! (nohomo its a true beanbag like seat or couch)
HHG game piracy is what is hurting pc gaming more than the xbox and ps3. 10’s of 1000’s of pc games each day get downloaded.Also you also have to take into consideration digital download sales like steam and direct to drive which sells probably more games than stores do.
Just because you’re writing in caps doesn’t mean we should take you seriously.
So answer me this, HHG, what’s bigger here in Germany, PC or console gaming? Or rather than Germany, be it Europe. Can’t wait for your answer.

torrence. saying that a game is the best looking is subjective since it depends on personal taste and art direction preferences, but a game’s graphics is objective since graphics is a quantitative measure of visual fidelity via measures such as, resolution, framerate, texture resolution, physics, polygon counts, post processing effects, lighting, particle effects; bump, parallax and specular mappings; vertex, geometry and pixel shading, etc, etc, etc
that being said, uncharted 2 is currently the most graphically advanced console game to date. although crytek wish to argue otherwise, time will tell.

Looked like more of the same madden to me…. Scoring a will, unexplained drops, superior protection for the quarterback, the list could go on. Tor did one of the very things i hate mostly about a lot of madden players…. They go for it on 4th and 10 from like their own 40! Unexplained drops happen every game in the real NFL, nobody can catch every ball thrown theri way, even when wide open.
Tom Brady has superior protection from his O-line, if you watch their games you would know that. Tor and Spenny both dont have any D though, so the scoring at will was gonna happen.
i agree with you about people going for it on 4th, it it sucks cause you know you gotta stop them for 4 downs and not 3.

Media Center is not on PS3. Both PS3 and Xbox 360 have generic tools for viewing shared files. Media Center on Xbox 360 has the kick ass interface.

Now for everyone else in terms of this pc gaming console thing let me ask you guys a few questions
1. world of warcraft is one game that people subscribe to and play all the time correct ok now that’s great but let me ask you this if you walk into a store and you look at this years line-up of games for ps3, xbox360, and pc, exclusives included, also think about price, online, everything that has to do with gaming which system would you choose and why?
2. Crysis is amazing I’ve seen this game at high setting and recently i saw it with 120 frames per second looks unreal like blu-ray movies on 120hz hi-def sets now based on that right crysis is still the best looking game and it came out in 2007 so it’s been nearly 3 years since another game came out exclusively on pc that can top that graphical experience overall as opposed to consoles which every year the upgrade in overall game quality is significant. what would you invest in, a console that continues to grow in quality as is or a pc that has one main major looking game and if they continuously put out new games with higher quality that crysis you may have to spend more money to see that quality properly what would you choose pc or consoles
3. soon the pc gaming market isn’t going to have many exclusives anymore why cause of pirating, the fact that consoles are in hi-def and can now be compared to the graphics that’s being produced on these pc’s, also i beleive the sims 3 is coming to ps3 and 360, spore is coming as well i think, and crysis 2 is coming, so if world of warcraft is next then what and beleive me it’s not that it can’t be done it just hasn’t been done yet. also developers find it more profitable working with the consoles as opposed to pc so that’s a better business move right there.
4. gamestop is one of if not the biggest game store that represents videogames and the pc shelf is extremely small compared to the consoles, also they don’t sell pc gaming rigs there only consoles so when it comes to pure gaming, consoles are in the minds of consumers first especially the parents.
5. people will always play on the pc but that’s not my argument people still play ps one and dreamcast even sega genesis believe it or not so pc gaming will always be played but in terms of growing in the market and being productive and having the type of success that these consoles are having for pure gaming pc gaming is declining.

As far as HHG and PC, I see and understand his point. But that is a pretty bold statement, and he had to know MANY were going to be offended and that the backlash was going to be strong. But, No need for all the hating on him for it(talkin about commenters), it is strictly his opinion, he isn’t getting payed for saying what he says like many other gaming outlets.
The way I see it PC is the father of games, may not be as popular as consoles but it will always be around. Consoles now a days are being more and more like PC’s(removable hdd, online access gaming/web browsing, be able to store pics/vids/music/dlcgames, FatPS3 able to change OS).
IMO, U2 can’t be done on one DVD disk, it would have to be multiples
