btw hiphhop, you picked the wrong battle. even though it is your opinion. consoles will probably never surpass PC in terms of graphics. your argument should be on the gameplay side. only argument they would have is “my mouse moves faster than your analog stick.” and “my keyboard has more buttons, allowing me to do more things”.
When Sony/Ms give us options to upgrade parts like PC then we can shut the up. PC Gamers can update to the newest cards etc but us console gamers are stuck with same tech for 7-8 years before the next consoles come out. When need upgradable parts next gen.
ya hhg shot himself in the foot with this one. plus i dont think consoles will be upgradable since most people buy them so they dont have to upgrade.

Weapon X will never answer, he’ll slip out of his ridiculous Forza 3 comments by not commenting on Forza 3 at all. I’d love to know what the hell Weapon X was talking about, those are the exact cars rolling off assembly lines, to the letter.

The reason first month sales are used is its the best selling month, you never get a major increase the second month or a year later. The Industry counts on NPD numbers because they aren’t inflated from pack-ins.
You mentioned MotorStorm- 199,000 sold 1st month & didnt chart the following month (lowest number was 79,000), terrible for such a hyped game.
Resistance:Fall of Man:1st 13 months 757,000 units, I liked RFoM. Resistance 2 385,000 1st month, didnt chart next month.
The numbers you listed were pack-in numbers, inflated for marketing purposes. If one of those games were worth its salt, it would’ve sold off the hook like MGS 4, COD MW, & COD W@W.
I just listened to the warzone and I have to say that I lost a lot of respect for HHG. When he said things like “so you think smaller is better” in reference to why PC gamers would rather play on 20-30″ monitors rather than a 40-50″ HDTV, I wanted to choke his ass out. The guy is either playing stupid or is infact a very ignorant person. Someone also brought up the point I had been screaming at my speakers about how, console gamers have to have HDTV’s for games to look as good as they are previewed, and HHG responded to that with “you have to upgrade your PC’s too so now what”. Again I wanted to choke him.
HHG went on to say that he uses his computer with his HDTV but then failed to realize how that would be gimping his TV as Torrence said. True HHG that is doable but if your computer outputs in 1280 or higher and your HDTV only does 1080 you are not getting the best resolution possible. True it’s big as shit…but its not the best resolution. He also said something like who wants to play games on those little ass screens even if it has that high of resolution. Once again I wanted to choke his ass. Someone should make him play his PS3 on that 40″ HDTV sitting two feet away and see how he likes that. The only reason a PC would need a monitor that big is for presentations, and most of us use our PC’s for games HHG so no bigger is not always better.
The kicker is when HHG said that Heavy Rain…Heavy Rain!…graphically would shut down PC gaming. Heavy Rain? Really HHG? For real, that just came out of your mouth. I wanted to choke his ass. I was so glad when JMD came in and set HHG strait, I hate that I always need to get to bed when these PC gaming discussions get going. I am not even a hardcore PC gamer, I said in an earlier post that if I had a PC that could play games I would play them on PC and now I do. Need For Speed Shift I will be buying on PC, MW2 I will buy on both PC and PS3 (Think I will save the Single Player for PC then do MP on it later). I bought MW on PC recently and as JMD said CoD on PS3 does not compare in any way to CoD on PC running at something insane like 300 fps. The game is so much more fluid and faster, I understand HHG likes consoles, I do too, but the guy makes a shit ton of ignorant statements. This is why HHG gets all the hate he does when he opens his mouth about anything. I can’t respect a man that says he will never back down from anything he says, that is something a young punk would say HHG and you seem like an adult…discuss things like an adult and realize that you are not always right, my daughter acts like that and she is 4. And stop thinking that talking loud and saying that you are right and that you just smashed someone makes your points anymore valid. Valid points make points valid points.
