I just got this video and I am so excited on how the HALO franchise continues to reinvent it’s self. Many love HALO and few hate it. But, no matter how you look at it HALO:ODST looks to redefine it’s self with this new multi-player mode named “FIRE FIGHT”.
I know some might think that Bungie is pulling a copy cat mode from Gears2’s HORDE mode but I don’t agree. Read the rest and see the video after the break.
The game mode looks to have multiple stages and is bringing back the skulls from HALO3 to add many different challenges and re-playability to it.

It is being advertised on the Live marketplace. Download both this and the Firefight introduction with Sarge. Firefight is going to be sick.
It’s probably not going to be a commercial on TV, because a 2 1/2 minute commercial cost like $5 mil. per channel for air time.
Bungie isn’t only redefining the Halo Franchise with Firefight, but the campaign will be non linear. This is my GOTY & the game that’s loaded with the most features this year.
They did sort of copy off Horde & Zombie mode, but everyone copied something in their shooter off Halo & nothing can match Halo’s success on a single console.
I’m glad Bungie isn’t stubborn like Infinity Ward. IW think they have such a great story they cant implement co-op through it, that’s B******T! I’m glad Bungie makes each iteration of Halo that much better!
GOTY? but you never played it. this game sound like fun but it looks like crap! this kind of game can be done on the xbox 1.

Ok, I’ve never played it, right, I do know this, its Halo, period. See, after knowing its Halo & made by Bungies A Team, you know the best FPS just got better with an additional mode.
You’re looking at a multiplayer component in Firefight that’s extra & something Killzone 2 doesn’t have, along with co-op. Maybe if Killzone 2 had co-op or Firefight/Horde/Zombie Modes, it would’ve sold some of those Halo Killing WOOF Tickets, & sold better than the atrocious numbers it produced.
See, a game with fantastic features just got better with Firefight, how could it not be a contender? Also, no one has played Uncharted 2 or MW 2, so what makes them contenders & not ODST?

I didnt say Firefight was new to gaming, I acknowledged it was a copy of Horde & Zombie Mode, sort of. I only said sort of because Epic & Treyarch wasn’t the first with a mode of that type. I’ll never plagiarize something, you get kicked out of college for that.
& the many people that hate Halo, don’t have a 360 or the Halo sales are killing their favorite shooter on & offline.
As for God of War 15 being you GOTY, dude relax, that’s your opinion. Its ok to disagree without being disagreeable.
However, when you say God of War 3 is going to outsell Halo Anything, then you officially lose (“See what I did there”)!

I’m sitting here enjoying a nice slice of the Halo to come when I get a big pile of ignorance smeared all over it. I mean if you don’t even have to play this game to know it’s game of the year then more power to ya, but I know this two minute clip didn’t blow my mind nearly as much as it did yours. Also just because we might not think this is game of the year doesn’t mean we thought killzone 2 was, and if we don’t jump on the Halo dick sucking bandwagon doesn’t mean we are on the PS3s.
