WOW. That’s all I can say is WOW. This may be the first Call of Duty I actually buy. I don’t buy games that come out EVERY YEAR, but I’m willing to make an exception. COD MW2 is like all of the best shooters wrapped up in one. It has destructibility on the level of Killzone 2, the graphics are amazing even with color (a lot of games rely on gray, brown, and black), the environments look huge, and so much is going on. I’m officially impressed with Call of Duty, and Killzone 2 definitely has competition for Best FPS this year.
oh yeah the graphics are off the hook but it still doesnt measure up to killzone 2 graphics im sorry that game is amazing but gameplay it will crush it cuz its so much fun and heard splinter cell got pushed nack till march 2010 guess weapon X is right.
The graphics arent the best, but it looks great. This looks to top Killzone 2 in every aspect except for the graphics. Especially in the gameplay dept.

See that just made my day. I mean first Splinter Cell gets delayed which by the way I will be the first to give props to Weapon X on Warzone 51 calling it that it was going to get delayed. This has become my must have game behind Forza 3 and moved Halo ODST into 3rd. Fracking awesome.

Looks like they are really stepping up the multiplayer…. the maps we seen seemed to be more detailed then in cod4…. seemed to have a more liveable and vibrant appeal
sunday morning puXXy must look like Cod4 old puxxy on two years ago sunday. the game just looks okay. the gameplay is the only thing that has me say cool. the grenade effects look like a those caused by white popper with gunpowder in them things people had back in 6 grade. the tree did not even tremble withe the expolsions going off… if people see more then that then i need to put on their glasses to have fours eyes because my two eyes of 20/20 only see avg graphics. the person holding the gun in the video has all the graphics.. freeze frame then tell where the graphics went to… i expected more. it is what it is…

Plus I remember the first time seeing someone run in CoD4 and get hit by a flash and stumble and cover eyes… always thought their running was pretty good.
Killzone 2 sucked when it came to movement. Besides the lag in the controller, and the supposed “weight” in the handling of the weapons. Even after the patch the game feels like its handles like a slug. MW2 is the only shooter im gonna need to play until Future Warfare hits next gen consoles.
Look dont get mad because killzone movement isnt the same as every other fps out there. Get use to it and quit bitching. This game looks good but its still killzone all day everyday.
O yea dragon warrior is so good in a game that takes just bout one shoot to kill anybody.

The story is there but really who plays a shooter for story. The online is truely amazing. Apparently you must have forgot OOG. Killzone implemented the weight system to make the game appear realistic and people whined instead of seeing it at as a new challenge. And the online. Uhhh man dont even get me started on that. COD servers are probably some of the worst around besides street fighter’s servers. All I ever get in that god damn game is connection interrupted. Also if you say your not a fan of th art sytle, then you better never mention gears having a good art style.

Let me help you out. It works when you say IMO(In My Opinion) saying that Killzone 2 is the undisputed best FPS. If that was the case it wouldn’t have sold 20,000 units last month. Halo 3 wouldn’t have outsold it after a DLC update. 2 YEARS LATER. System exclusive is the worst BS excuse I have seen and PS3 Entry Price is just as worse. THE INSTALL BASE DIDN’T BUY THE GAME.
Want to know why it isn’t selling as well? The main reason is the demo that was available. That demo showed how crippled the controls were and that turns alot of FPS players off. Just like all games before Killzone 2 the controls is what will make or break a game and it didn’t help get stardom like Halo or Gears(Since you mention it being exclusive)
The best thing about Killzone is the graphics(IMHO). Story, gameplay, and overall fun factor are still outclassed by a 640p and 600p resolution games which are still the top playing FPS games on the market.

This so called weight system is a crock of shit…. if it wasnt they wouldnt have done a patch that a shit ton of people asked for….also if it was so called realistic they would allow us to kill the deadzone so you react on time no delayed and sluggish…. in reality Killzones controls are just bad…. I dont need halo or Cod like controls… but I do like ones that are realistic and functional ala Rainbow Six…. which is not a pick up and play game and the controls are hard to get used to but they can feel natural…. Killzone on the other hand…. you would have to be built ass backwards for it to be natural….
Why do you think in killzone there was always soo many gun fights with people all in cluster….. because half the damn people cant finish the job cuz the controls are not good… That being said I enjoyed the game and thought it was fun but I do believe it has a lot to learn about FPS games… it messes up in many spots where other games shine.
While on this mini rant….. in all honesty the most fun in Killzone was the intial month of release when people didnt have all the abilities… that made the game new and fresh everyday and each day seemed different from people unlocking new guns and abilities….. but then we can get into the fact this sooo called “realistic game” has super speed people with grenade launchers running around, as well as delayed deaths…. the ability to drop a spawn point directly in front of the opposing teams spawn and one of the slowest reacting jump buttons ive ever used in my life…. ever hear of jumping while running???? Not a happy feet two foot shuffle jump!
Anyway… Its obvious you are a PS3 person…too obvious or youd know CoD doesnt have issues on the 360 that you seem to say plague the game…. go figure….And while sales do not mean a game is great (or the best ever)… I do believe when a game has the ability to push 10 + million copies thats saying something. Especially when your soo called one of the greatest FPS’s of all time (Killzone) has had a hard enough time trying to even reach 1.4 million people to rank on a leaderboard… and this is with a system known for multiple accounts of which most people I know have at least 3.
So while you may think Killzone is one of the best FPS games of all time… I doubt it or its franchise would scratch their way into the top 10 let alone be known as the best….
Having shiny graphics and being on the ps3 does not mean the game = Best FPS ever…. maybe you should add more categories to the lsit while ranking a game because that will not cut it….
And good list Spenny… I could debate Battlefield PC franchise could be in there as well…. and I cant really shy on Halo… mainly due to the fact its probably one of the most if not the most played online franchises ever…not for me… but it must be doing something right to have almost 1 mill unique users per day on it….

Yeah its hard to make a top 10 from 10-1 just because there a lot of long running FPS franchises and a lot would be personal opinion….but good list…but I could add a few more you might consider….. Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Wolfensteain, James Bond series, Tribes etc just to name a few
Yeah Ghost Recon has gone 3rd person now but I do know what you mean, I was thinking to put Rainbow 6 at 10 but I just felt Far Cry was superior to me. James bond while allways solid they didn’t really improve and have also shifted 3rd person until the latest one that was first person (Casino Royale). Wolfenstien while it was great it didn’t really make it out of the 90’s unlike Doom and quake. Your right tho it is hard to make a top ten.

Better yet, why not tell us exactly how COD or any other FPS game like Halo isn’t fucking with Killzone 2 besides pointing out the graphics? Amount of players playing? On the 360 alone almost a million players are playing Halo 3.
DLC content? Well you got COD: MW1 their but now MW2 has DLC coming with timed exclusive content on the 360.
Features? Halo 3 vs Killzone 2. No reason to even go in details on this one.
Did I miss anything? Maybe you can help us out how no game is “fucking” with Killzone 2 currently. Besides graphics, it seems Killzone 2 isn’t fucking with anyone else in the game. But your opinion still stands on its on merits.
