In my opinion on the subject of “2. Game Developers Getting A Cut From Gamestop Soon” i think its wrong. Game devs make the games and get money when we buy them once i sell my copy back to gamestop or any other place the devs dont deserve a penny of the money from the resale of the game. If i sell my car should i then send ford some cash? if i sell anything on ebay should i send the manufacturer some cash? I understand that gamestop sells alot of used games and they are eating into sales of ip’s but thats no reason for dev companies act act like cunts and cry that they want more money. if devs start to get a percentage of the used game sales then i want all games to be sold for $10-15 less.

This is why sites don’t even bother to compare the companies in the way you TRIED to do and that is because all you did was guess that Sony is “more†profitable than MS yet even Blacksmiths post doesn’t give us the whole details.
Give us these facts of what we know you did not bother to try and find prior to doing the article that clearly looks premature.
How much money is Sony making off the PSP and PS2 after manufacturing cost?
How much is Sony losing off the PS3 currently?
how much is Sony making of royalties from multiplatform games
Do you have exact numbers for how many games are sold on all 3 platforms for U.S. since the article was focused on NPD numbers?
How much are they making exactly from the sales of games on the PSP?
How much is MS making off the 360?
How much is MS making from the sales of software for the 360 games including royalties from multiplatform games?
How much is the development cost for exclusive games that Sony/MS make?
How much is MS making from Xbox Live?
How much is Sony making from Home?
Now you have the research to do a article titled “Sony Beats Microsoft Againâ€.
How come you didn’t point out the YOY increase for the 360?
What about the 360 being the only console to actually increase the YOY sales by 9% and the decline YOY sales of of PS3 -59%, PS2 -1%, and PSP -52%?
We already know why because as I stated in my comments it wouldn’t make for a good article on Sony’s part.
If your article had this type of information in it then we could see the point but that is the problem with your articles. Your articles are based on opinion and not the full facts You got Blacksmith who I understand is industry so shouldn’t be difficult to some of that information. That is why journalist do not try and do an article they don’t have facts about. This is why your article was looked as flawed. Even if you had the roles reversed and you came out with the article in the same way I would still call you out on it. I enjoy your site until articles like this that have show no details of facts in the article like trophies article and this article. I disagree with the point of the article because it doesn’t state facts and it is clearly a premise of what the Sony Defense Force has done

Now, that’s some BS, comparing a hand held & a dying PS2 to the future: the PS3 & 360. Year over year, the 360 is delivering the pain to the PS3. You should be mad at the higher-ups within SONY to bring that price down so Activision & other devs will give SONY some exclusive DLC.
The PS3 will stay in 3rd for the rest of this generation.

Don’t talk about Gran Turismo 5 unless you have something to show. Yes I’m talking about that whole section where you were talking about taking photos of your car, uploading them and then auto-magically getting that car to play with.
No. Just no.
Every car in GT5 takes many painstaking hours to expertly capture and model accurately. GT5 cars have interior modeling, realistic car handling and physics. FYI, Kazunori Yamauchi has already stated publicly that there are cars in GT4 which aren’t in GT5 (initially / at launch), but there will be a lot of cars.
Keep entertaining, but seriously – leave my GT5 alone!
