    Played it……………………………………..

I’ll get back to you Torrence…
Soon as I enter the house…

It’s bananas Torrence… It really is.
Right now, look at it and it’s bananas.
It’s because you’re just saying “NORTH, NORTH, NORTH, KILL BIRD…. WTF… COMMAND NOT RECOGNISED”
And it goes, “Yeah you’re still in the forest you were 12 days ago… it’s a mighty big forest… but one “SOUTH” and you’re with a troll?!

I absolutely can’t stand games like this. They do not hold my interest one bit. I’ve been gaming since NES so I don’t know if I qualify to be an old school gamer, but this shit is not fun for me. At all.

Lol… picked up the whole “Infocom Masterpieces” CD-Rom about 8 years back so that I could replay all of these ones. Personally there was a tie between Zork Zero and Wishbringer for my favorite.

Great games though, good looking out for the oldschool

Takes me back to DOS gaming. In the house right now, I guess my girlfriend isn’t digging this game. (She just left.)

  • Chad Betteridge says:

Great post, I’m down in the cellar right now. Classic stuff here.

  • Killa_5150 says:

    I don’t get it lol

  • Killa_5150 says:

This is confusing, that’s what I got:

You are at the top of the great canyon on its south wall. From here
there is a marvelous view of the canyon and parts of the Frigid River
upstream. Across the canyon, the walls of the white cliffs still
appear to loom far above. Following the canyon upstream (north and
northwest), Aragain Falls may be seen, complete with rainbow.
Fortunately, my vision is better than average, and I can discern the
top of flood control dam #3 far to the distant north. To the
west and south can be seen an immense forest, stretching for miles
around. It is possible to climb down into the canyon from here.

im just past there…. and im stuck on a fuckn beach! and it wont let me go anywhere lol

this will drive me insane! lol… I keep telling it southeast but it wont :/ I think I had tried everything… maybe im giving the wrong response :…(

  • snskid says:

I think if I played Zork any longer I might be sitting in front of my laptop all day. lol

  • carnex says:

Ah, those where the days. When solving one problem you were stuck on felt more satisfying then finishing most of the games today. They were bloody hard as you were fighting with limited phraser as well as author’s, usually twisted, logic. Although I never played Zork games, i spent hours playing the likes of Hobbit, Castle of Terror and The Pawn on Commodore 64

  • OOG says:

well tor I played again and went in the house this time and into the caves all the way to the dam….. took shit and got stuck at a deadend :/ lol and no direction would work :/…. im going to master this shit tho… eventually lol

This reminds me of a M.U.D game. I usually play the rpg ones that are still around, but this is definitly a puzzle of some sort. I’m pissed off that I went through a trap door with all these items and I had to drop almost all of them to get out of it. So far this is pretty cool, brings back memories of my lvl 101 Minotaur Blademaster on this M.U.D game. Those were the days!

  • OOG says:

MUAHAHAHA I FOUND OUT HOW TO GET OUT OF THE CAVE! LOL

and put shit in my trophy case… went back for the golden tomb and light burnt out :/

  • OOG says:

Update….. things ive done…Ive finally figured out how to opened the dam flood gate….found the way out of tunnels with all my shit…. found ramsays tomb…the holy grail… a church like place..etc(didnt find the tomb when I went back to take his coffin tho :/)trying to figure out how to pass the gate with the voices etc…

Overall lots of fun because the game pisses me off…. but at least I found the way back with all my shit to put in the trophy case lol
