It’s now official! MVC2 hits XBLA at the end of this month. It will cost a paltry 1200 MP’s. Life is grand. It’s funny how the demo hit PSN but Xbox gamers still get the final version first. How does this happen? Here’s what Capcom sent via email:
Attention
Brawlers,
The day
you’ve been
waiting for is just around the corner. Today we are announcing that
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be available globally as part of
Microsoft’s “Summer
of Arcade” through Xbox Live on Wednesday, July 29 for 1,200
Microsoft Points.

It doesn’t necessarily mean they get it first, it doesn’t mention any exclusivity.
Actually i think they might get it first for at least a week. I got both consoles but still waiting for the PSN version.
Torrence that is because PS Store updates every Thursday. Xbox Live Marketplace gets it first because they update the live arcade every Wednesday.
So why didn’t the announcement say for the PS3 on 30 July?
He might be right though because something similar to this happened before, so he is basing it on that.
