Here’s the Brink interview we did after we saw the game. I was hoping some footage would be available by now but it’s still a good watch! Splash Damage has some really experienced developers working for them. This is the FPS to keep your eyes on for 2010.

LMFAO! You stunned him.
“That was a very astute observation”
Nice art direction so far from what i’ve seen. They seem to have a lot of experience behind this title, from the lead programmer on Heavily Sword to guys who worked on Quake Wars running the id tech 4 engine. Nice to see he also worked on Syphon Filter. Man that was just an awesome game….
I would really like to be able to play as a chick. In most games if I’ve the opportunity to play as chick, I almost always do.
Really Torrrence , COD4 with Killzone 2 graphics?
I m afraid you might eat your words later on , since you almost made me buy red planet guerrilla …eeeewww of a game on a Disk.
Lets hope you are right.
Is Brink co-op?
Before any of you take Tor’s advice on getting games, you have to understand his taste. Hes not a graphics whore, and hes generally all about gameplay. When Tor says that a game looks beautiful, 99% of the time he is right. But just like anyone else, he has his opinion on what a great game is. Personally I liked Redfaction 1 better then 2 and guerrilla. What you should do is just try the demo out for yourself, and rent it if you like it. If you really like it after renting it then just buy it. Dont use other peoples opinions if your really not sure about a game.
Hey Tor, I just wanna say that I think you do a fucking awesome job interviewing people. You seem to have helped the creative director of Brink say what he was trying to say without making him look like a dumb ass. I almost couldn’t tell that you actually said anything. Keep this shit up man, we need more people like you doing interviews instead of jack asses like the mother fuckers at Gamespot and IGN.
Hey man what happened to the Bit Bag mic flag you had?
