I know it sounds crazy, but here’s my reasoning.
1. Ubisoft held a press conference and didn’t show ANY in game footage, only a trailer. How do you not show any gameplay of one of your flagship titles at your OWN conference?
2. The first gameplay footage was shown at the Sony conference and there was not one clip shown at Microsoft’s conference.
3. The PSP version of the game works together with the PS3 version.
4. All the posters for Assassin’s Creed II have no system info on them. No Xbox or PS3 logos. Their other game, Splinter Cell does say Xbox 360.
5. There aren’t any Assassin’s Creed II demos in Microsoft’s booth.
6. Ubisoft only has the PS3 version in their booth.
Some PR rep has told me that it is indeed coming out for the 360. I’m thinking timed exclusivity maybe? Why no 360 or PC showing? Maybe they are finishing the PS3 version first? Maybe I’m just crazy.

Guess you thought wrong. It’s called a marketing exclusive. Not real hard to put together. Lets not forget the whole PS3 exclusive the first time right when it was shown on 360 SKU under a towel lol. One would think industry folk would get these things by now.
Anyhow not a chance in the world they would pass up on the millions they sold the first time around on the 360 this time around. Sony doesn’t have that kind of check power anymore.
I think it’s because ubisoft always showed AC on ps3 even the first one. Like sony didn’t have Metal Gear Solid:Rising at their conference but it is coming to PS3 the same date.
MGS:R wasn’t in MS’s booth either. It’s just weird.
Oh yea watching the new E3 trailer just up on the MP now as well. As I said not happening.
MGS:R was just an announcement correct?
I want Castlevania Lords of Shadow. I take back what I said in the chat about wanting another 2D ‘Vania.
AC2 looks sweet. I’d get the game just to see Italy. lol
I dont remember where, but i heard their 360 build isnt far enough along.
Its simply because they started on PS3 first, like burnout paradise, for example.
Im sure it will be almost identical on both, day 1, just like AC1.
You’re just crazy Tor, lol.
Seriously though, I thought that the PS3 version was worked on first because they wanted to get the PS3 version done right; and on top of that, they will have the time to get the sixaxis controls right (I can see flying through the city being a motion-sensitive task).
yeah most likely a marketing exclusive… like you see MS do sometimes with commercials/advertising with like… Guitar Hero etc
