Sand People Invade Red Faction

red fac 3

Today THQ announced 3 new DLCs that will be available in the near future for Red Faction Guerrilla, the first of which will be titled ” Demons of the badlands”. Demons will be a single player mission add-on that will take the player outside of the already extensive world. The screen shots you see are from the Demons DLC and reveal characters that are  reminiscent of the Star Wars sand people. No word on any multiplayer DLC or the other 2 DLCs yet but we’ll keep an eye out for you. Expect Demons of the badlands to drop August 13th on Xbox Live and PSN.

The Bigs2 Interview with Rob Nelson and Damon Purdue

b2

Ever wanted to know about “The Bigs 2”? Well here is your chance to get the scoop from Rob Nelson, producer of “The Bigs 2” and associate producer, Damon Purdue. They will be answering our questions about the second installment of The Bigs series. “With this licensed MLB product the game is more arcade like with over the top plays at the plate, acrobatic catches, etc. The Bigs 2 still captures the flavor of baseball, but with more action moments. The controls are the same from the first game, as they are functional, and easy to pick up and grasp. Due to feedback on the controls, they were a bit twitchy and off, the Wii pitching and base running have been redone. Read the rest of this entry »

Brink E3 Interview

Here’s the Brink interview we did after we saw the game. I was hoping some footage would be available by now but it’s still a good watch! Splash Damage has some really experienced developers working for them. This is the FPS to keep your eyes on for 2010.

Review: Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires

ixdeofwmsc

I can remember when Dynasty Warriors was a 3D fighter for the PS1. Who would have known that the franchise would last so long. In taking DW from a fighter to a massive mob bash fest, Koei has ultimately created their own genre. Several other games like Samurai Warriors and DW Gundam keep the genre alive.
