Gorgeous Modern Warfare 2 Screens

cod-mw2-2

Okay so this isn’t a prank like our last MW2 screen shot, this is the real deal and ohh boy does it ever look good. From what I can tell the levels so far will be in Russia and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Rio will be home to intense gun fights from the way the city is set up, and look for no places to hide if they go into the favelas cause its tin house city. Looking at the snowy screen shot I can’t help but think about playing multiplayer in the snow (anyone remember GRAW 2’s snow maps?) its going to be awesome! If anymore MW2 news shows up we’ll keep you informed. Peace, Spenny.

Also on this show…

  • The mysterious Kojima game (Torrence)
  • Microsoft may be liquidating Elites (Weapon X)

One Hour Gorgasm, Thank You HOUSE OF THE DEAD: OVERKILL

This classic arcade style game proves that the Wii is not always so family friendly. House of the Dead: Overkill holds the record for the video game with the most swearing in it with 3% of all it’s dialogue being the word “fuck”. Enjoy!

NEW BIGS 2 SCREENS

2k sports recently released these remarkable Bigs 2 screen shots that depict a high level of graffical detail. Seems as though Sony may have some competition this year in Baseball gaming. What do you think?

Review: Race Pro

racepro12xl

Back in 2005 a studio in Vera, Sweden popped up by the name of Simbin. Simbin’s goal was to bring a fresh new and exciting racing simulator to consoles and PC, so they started working on GTR- Fia GT racing. GTR was supposed to be put out on PC via Atari and Xbox 360 via THQ, Atari held their end of the deal and the PC version got shipped. THQ, on the other hand, backed out and the 360 version didn’t come to fruition. Now fast-forward to 2009, Simbin’s racing sims have been held to the highest standard by gear heads around the globe, yet there has never been a console version. Well gear heads rejoice because Simbin’s Race Pro is upon us and boy does it ever cater to the hardcore. Read the rest of this entry »

Video Games Live

Video Games Live is a tour that travels around the world with a live orchestra playing video game music both classic and new generation. It was created in 2002 by Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall. It was fantastic and I would highly recommend that if they come to your city to go see it. Unlike most orchestras they want you to cheer and scream when you see a game you love. There’s are screens that have game footage on them as they play the music from the game. They try to make it as fun as possible by including contests and giveaways throughout the performance. The pre-show also had contests including a very fun costume contest (I knew I should have dressed up as Zero Suit Samus). There are also guests throughout the night. They even had Ralph Baer, The Father of Video Games, give a video speech over Skype. I was very excited to meet Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall, I even had my picture taken with them! I also got to meet Splitting Adam, the band that did the music for the main song in Need for Speed: Undercover. This was a great performance and any gamer would have a blast listening to their favorite video game music live.

PS3 Gets Fallout 3 DLC

HA I KNEW IT!!! That’s what I just replied to Pete Hines. Looks like this was just a timed exclusive. Where are all you PS3 Bethesda haters now!?!? Where are you!?!!?!? Post in the comment section please!

We are pleased to announce that Fallout(r) 3 downloadable content (DLC) is coming to
PLAYSTATION(r)3 computer entertainment system. We have been working on implementing
it for a while and look forward to bringing it to PS3 gamers via the PlayStation
Network. Operation: Anchorage will be released for PS3 in late June, followed by
the release of The Pitt and Broken Steel 4-6 weeks apart. Release dates will be
forthcoming.

In addition, a new update will be released for PS3 that will allow users to download
and play the new DLC. The release date for that update will be announced at a later
date.

There are also two new DLCs planned for all three platforms:
* Point Lookout – Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new
quests and content.
* Mothership Zeta – The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience
an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.

Point Lookout will be available in late June for Xbox 360 and PC. Cost will be 800
points or $9.99. It will be available through Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live
and through token cards available at retail. Point Lookout will be available on PS3
after the first three DLCs have been released.

Mothership Zeta is scheduled for release in late July for Xbox 360 and PC. Cost will
be 800 points or $9.99. It will be available through Xbox Live and Games for Windows
Live and through token cards available at retail. Mothership Zeta will be available
on PS3 after Point Lookout.

Finally, new Fallout 3 products will be available at retail this year.

Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage on a disc
and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on May 26.

The Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 includes Broken Steel and Point Lookout on a disc
and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC in August.

Retail versions of the game add-on packs for PS3 are not possible and the DLC will
only be available for download online via PlayStation Network.

A Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be available in October. It will include
the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $49.99
for PC.

Dead 2 Rights 2 Fly By Trailer

Here’s a look at some of the D2R2 environments.

New Dead To Rights: Retribution Screens

dead-screens-3

Namco Bandai has granted us some new Dead to Rights: Retribution screen shots. The pictures show a dark and grimy city, the art direction reminded me of condemned 2 for some reason. Retribution is looking like an interesting title and if its even a little bit better then the first its a definite pick up for me. Rest of the pictures after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
