yo i was wondering how do i become part of the live show been asking that for weeks and no answer from anyone. so im hoping you or someone can answer. i just got my cpu up and running again..
Torrence uses the Teamspeak client which you can download it here:

After choosing your platform you can connect to the warzone server by going to to connect and entering in “ts30.gameservers.com:8771″ in the Server Address. The only other thing needed is your Nickname and hit connect. You can select your input/output devices in the settings > options menu and alter the voice activation/output levels in the settings > sound input/out settings menu.
To get in the warzone chatroom download an IRC client ( i use mIRC) connect to EFnet and connect to the # Warzone room. Don’t feel like going to indepth with the IRC settings but if you need further explanation i’ll gladly help you out with it.
hey thanks a whole lot for the response. but i have a few more questions.. sorry for the bother. but do i need to download mirc and teamspeak both? or just one of them? well i just downloaded both of them just incase. but i dont know if i got it right with the whole finding the warzone thing yet… cause well since theres no warzone currently playing it probably wont show.
You can still try to connect i believe you will even though there’s no Warzone right now. Yes mIRC and Teamspeak are two different products so you will have to download them separately.

ok thanks alot but one more question. do i have to use both of them or not? because they both seem to do the same thing so im not sure which one i need to use and could you tell me what time do they usually start the show and what night? i think its saturday but im not 100% sure
Yeah you need to use teamspeak and any one of the IRC chat clients, choose your flavor. Teamspeak would allow you to hear the show and possibly voice your opinion while the IRC clients would allow you to participate in the chat, ask questions and make an ass of yourself… Last part is completely up to you
The Warzone last time i checked starts @ 11:30pm EST on Friday nights but with the usual buffoonery that goes on the show doesn’t really kick off until midnight. Remember these are EST so depending on your geographic location the time may be different for you.

LMFAO! Hearing it live was priceless when Jon went on his rant. It was lie someone was restraining him and then out of nowhere he was like fuck that and just went off. I literally was on the floor laughing. Even when Tor was like i think some of his staff (DLB) is going Jon sounded as if he still didn’t give a fuck.
Michael A. was good on the show. Again i was laughing my ass off when HipHop put him on the spot, Krome was mad quiet too. But it seems like they put all that aside and he added some good insight. Shit i didn’t even know about Kojima feeling dissed by Microsoft with the Dev kit situation. If that’s true as far as Kojima feeling pissed off with microsoft then Microsoft never wanted the metal gear series. Think about it, he’s the creative mastermind behind one of the most popular and critically acclaimed franchises and it he supported the Xbox. People flock to this mans game and we all new he making a new game (which was stated to be his last in the series) why not try to score an early blow against Sony and get him on the bandwagon?
Oh yeah i meant to say this on your last DD Tor but actually they try to prevent DragonWarrior from being released on school/business days basically only on the weekends. I actually think they made it a LAW!

hey Torrence, i have a request for your next Davis Daley. i was listening to Warzone #9 yesterday and you guys were talking about Soul Calibur IV. you mentioned that you created a character that look like you but used one of the women’s styles because you liked the swords or something, and HipHop and Candid were laughing at you about it. can you show some gameplay of that character? i was LOL’ing at the mental picture of it the whole time.

W@W is a fantastic game & I think its much better than COD 4. 4 player co-op & Zombie Mode solidified it for me & my boys.

Has a fantastic point because Trayarch used Infinity Wards specs & if they left Activision, it could be trouble. Also, I think Infinity Ward is getting a pass by not making MW2 co-op & I hope The Bitbag, HipHopgamershow, AnalogHype.com, Gamesonsmash, & everybody calls them out. No co-op is one of the reasons I think Killzone 2 is overrated, good game but no where near all that.
20 mins? HHG plays games for 20 mins and posts a review? C’mon now. Let’s look at inFAMOUS for example. If you played the game for 20 mins the game would not seem that great. The graphics are so-so, the decisions wouldn’t seem of any real magnitude, and the gameplay (powers, traversing the city, combat, etc) would all seem plain or pedantic.
So what score would you give? Probably a 7 ala Edge. The big sites may not be “hungry” like the smaller sites, but they have the necessary manpower to assign reviewers to play a substantial portion of the game if not beating the game. Heck, IGN beat Killzone 2 almost six times I think. I’m glad I got to hear this weeks episode and how you guys review games. Reaffirms my basing a game’s worth primarily off of the big sites opinions.
Tor, have you been watching Beavis and Buthead lately? You did that B&B laugh the whole show. Get back to doing the Mr. Mackey mmm’kay.
LOL nah the B&B is sooooo much funnier! mmmm’kay is funny but you can’t run that as much as the B&B laugh it’s effect last longer, to me it does.
Some games you can review in short periods of time because you get the just of what it’s about and beating it or ending it won’t change the outcome. Torrence i think stated that, for instance playing an RPG for 30 mins won’t be a very indepth review. Plus some games start off slower then others which could change your opinion of the game midway through.
Sorry but I think if the game is beatable (unlike WoW) and is beatable within a reasonable period of time, you should beat the game before you review it. Certain games had some very dramatic and unexpected twists (MGS4 act 4) and other games allowed you to do something that you didn’t see coming in the first or second stage. Remember in Halo 1 when you jumped in the Banshee? Tell me you didn’t lose it at that moment. If I just played the first few stages/acts, I wouldn’t be able to give a score that reflects those experiences.

Not only when you go over the Microsoft section does it say Forza 3 and Alan Wake but WTF there’s a gamespot booth? Seriously do they really have a booth or are they just showing where they’ll be camping out.
Tor or anyone who has ever been there before (E3) can they speak on that? Have they always had a booth? Is it similar to what G4 has with their table set up?

If you look at HHG’s record he really never finishes any game he owns. Take Resistance for example, I still don’t think he ever beat that, and LBP? HHG hypes up all these games then he plays them for a day and is done. I mean just login to PSN and check out his achievements they guy owns lots of games but really doesnt play them.
Before you start flaming I mean do some research yourself, yes he has like 10 PSN accounts but his main one and if you look at his others speak for themself. He has the attention span of a 5 year old.
Bottom Line. HHG DOESNT FINISH GAMES.
Soon he will have guys like HYDRO logging into his PSN accounts and playing games for him cause he is too lazy to beat them himself.
Can you review a movie if you only watch half of it or can review an album only listing to half the songs , I don’t thinks so . What if you play a bad ass game and you only play 1/2 of the game and stop playing and then review it and prays the game only to not have played a part that was crap like a bad level design or a boss battle that was so poorly done or a number of other reasons like the AI that just does not improve over the cores of the game . p.s. hey HipHop get your tong out of Sony’s ass. It’s called panic, everyone panicking from something that’s really not that big of a deal. A similar variant was even exposed in the USA back in the 70’s and the 80’s. Everyone needs to relax about it. Also reviewing a movie and a game was a bad example. Movie’s you have to watch the whole movie to give an accurate review. Do you have to play a season in Madden to review it? There are games where you don’t need to play the entire game to get an accurate sense on how it is and to get your feel for it. Yes i agree that playing a game for 20 mins isn’t helping that case but again not all games need that thorough play through.
