The signs are all there. The image of Big Boss was the true key to this puzzle. Kojima is using the MGS4 engine to retell MG1 and 2. I talked with my Metal Gear expert today and he immediately figured it out after the Big Boss picture was dropped. As always, take this with a grain of salt but know this, if it comes true, you heard it here first. Here’s what he had to say:
they can only be going back to the beginning. They are going to tell the story of when Snake first gets recruited into Foxhound. That’s GOT to be it because Big Boss is at the right age for that time frame. We are gonna finally gonna get to see Grey Fox in it’s element!

yep i was thinking the same thing, that raiden really isn’t raiden, at least he doens’t strike me as raiden. yes it could be MG 1&2.
also many people still think that the first metal gear game started on the ps1 with metal gear solid.
i had the feeling they would make remake the moment i played the shadow moses level in mgs4. i think that would be too predictable if they made MGS1 again+ mgs1 laready has a remake on the gamecube, the original would be the logical choice since not many people including myself got to play it.

id love to see some remakes…. but make the games longer they were not long enough
nah, it isnt Big Boss. Kojima said so himself in the Famitsu interview, he said it is someone that played a role a MGS1, 2, and 4. so that leave Liquid, Solid, and Akiba (Johnny). so Akiba is comic relief and should not play the main role, and Snake would have to get younger. also there are 2 MGS games being made, one for PSP, and one for PS3, and there will be PSP-PS3 connectivity.
also, that aint Raiden in those pics, Raiden = blue eyes, so that is most likely Grey Fox, who has Red/Brown eyes like in the pics, and he also lost his left eye in the REX fight. yes, i know he got stomped out in that fight by REX, but Kojima can do all sorts of shit, Big Boss was burned to a crisp in MG2, but showed up all fine and dandy in MGS4.
also, Ryan Payton said before he left KojiPro on the podcast he was doing, that if they were to do a MG/MG2 remake it would be like Bionic Commando Rearmed, put it on PSN with updated graphics controls etc., but i would not be suprised if they remade those for the PSP.
that would be so awesome if this was true. that way we could still have Snake in it and not Raiden (even though Raiden was dope).

My jaw hit the floor when i played the snow level from mgs, remade into MGS4 , so a remake of that would be sick also.
Ask your “Metal Gear Expert ” if Kojima is working on that .
1. That is not Raiden, that is Gray Fox or Kyle Schneider (Black Ninja) [likely Fox].
a. Raiden didn’t lose an eye.
b. Raiden’s body was replaced with 97% artificial parts in MGS4, so having such a battered body given the technological advances in MGS4 wouldn’t make sense.
2. I suspect that Raiden is Gray Fox’s or Black Ninja’s son
a. Gray Fox and Black Ninja were in Zanzibar (somewhere in Africa)
b. Raiden was a child soldier in Africa
2. “Solid” is “Naked”
a. the prototype Outer Haven logo is on the Beret
b. Solid never wore a beret
c. Solid was always clean cut; Naked was always a little mangy looking
This new game will likely take place after both Big Boss and Gray Fox were supposed to be dead, I’m thinking… Or some event before Metal gear since B.B. Already Had Gray Hair by then.
